I abject your theory about resistor series circuit.
1k 1/2watt + 1k 1/2watt = 2k 1/2 watt.
Not like your calculation
1k 1/2 watt + 1k 1/2 = 2k 2 watts this is wrong.
Value of the resistor will be added, but the wattage will be remaining the same wattage in series connection.
Your Parallel resistor theory is 100 % correct.
So please reconsider.

What i mean is 1k 1/4 watt + 1k 1/4 watt = 2k 1/4 watt.
Not 1/2 watt as per your theory in series.

I have a doubt. To glow led of 2v and 20 milliamps We need to apply resistance of (220-2) /(.020). I.e., 11 k ohms across 220 v supply.
So if we need 5v and 2 amps, should we be using 215/2. i.e., 107.5 ohms resistor?

सीरीज़ में रजिस्टर जोड़ने से रजिस्टर की पावर हेंडलिंग केपेसिटी watt नही बढ़ती बल्कि घटाई होती है,जबकि पेरेलल में बढ़ती है, सायद में गलत न होऊ तो ,प्रेक्टीकली पॉसिबल ही नही है

@@TotalPowerSolution I mean in series 1/4 + 1/4 =1/2 is mathematical right but in this case it's wrong,it's 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/8 it's 0 .125 watt
I think it depends on whether we have constant current source or constant voltage source.
