One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas - and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty, both gritty and graceful at the same time. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album. Now produced by traditional torchbearers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi), King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream with his major label debut album Shot Glass. The 11-song collection, seven of which co-written by King, centers around a night out at a bar, with each track representing a different point of view of those in the room. With over 120+ million career streams to his name, the Pandora and Country Now 2022 Country Artist to Watch is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself.

@@Videonerd03 The girls said the concert was ok but he was pretty rude afterwards. Brought his dog in the bar, would roll his eyes and mumble shit when a fan asked for a pic with him. Didn't want to be bothered or have to interact with fans (the girls say that's how he came across). You would think someone in his position of trying to make it in the music industry would be acting the exact opposite. Sadly that was not the case as told to me by my daughter and her four friends.
@allieandbo I'm guessing my interaction was different. I saw him in manhattan a couple of weeks ago. To a sold out crowd, and he was having fun with the fans. After the concert, I managed to get a picture with him, he acknowledged me even when I thought he would scoot right past me, I gave him a gentle nudge, and he saw me and got a picture with me. I told him thank you after the picture was taken. Shoot my old dad managed to shake his hand and tell him thank you and he signed my dads hat he had in his hand that he didn't asked to be signed. He may have not been having a good day. I don't know I had a great experience and my comment will still hold today.
@@Videonerd03 Oh I believe you. It's very possible he just had a bad day and I can relate. I play music and sometimes I just want to get out of there when the gig is done. He probably doesn't have that luxury with his publicist/manager telling him he needs to go mingle with the fans to help build his following. Completely understand. But at the same time, he lost 5 fans that night because of how he acted. I still love his music and wish him the best but those 5 girls won't have a good story to tell unfortunately.

I'm a French metalhead and i recently discovered Randall King and the Honky Tonk country. I really like this kind of music, typical from the southern United States. I had gotten so disappointed with all the pop music being passed off as country that I had abandoned it and would listen to Willie's Roadhouse exclusively for music or talk radio some.
