Now, every time I think of Valensole, I think of my spouse when we were driving the A51 between Sisteron and Aix-en-Provence. As we were approaching La Brillanne, she said to me: "Oh, it would be so nice if there was such a thing as a lavender mountain". I point to the escarpment in front of us and tell her: "There is one. It's over there."
To be clear, Valensole is a plateau, so it's pretty flat, but it sits on an escarpment above the Durance valley. So it definitely feels like a mountain from down there...
It was amazing. Pretty good. I love it🌹❤☀️🌻💐
So beautiful lavender fields 😍
On my list for next year
Thank you so much!!
Thank you for the video!
So if you go 1 week of September can we see the lavender fields???
Nope! As mentioned in the video, the lavender season is from late June to early August, sometimes mid-August.
