@xbox Had great fun watching this, so must be even better to play. All of Whirring & an arse kicking CAT 🐱 called 808 for the win ❤️ #hifirush #action #trailer #xbox
The moment the lyrics kicked in during the first fight is one of the most emotionally impactful moments I've ever experienced in a game, thank you all so much for the experience.
When I first started the game, I expected something similar to Sunset Overdrive; a bombastic adventure that would make me laugh at the absurdity of everything. Of course it made me laugh, but it left me invested in all the characters, they're growth and how much they've grown to depend on each other. When the lyrics and instrumentals kicked in, with everyone helping Chai get through the stage, it actually made me smile and feel a bit emotional. Hi-Fi Rush will hold a special place in my heart now as a notable game that had passion behind it when passion has started to grow more muddled in the gaming industry as time has passed.
I completely agree I felt the same way when I reached this point of the game I can happily say this one of the best games I have played of all time, the characters are so loveable ❤
I'm glad to see someone else comparing this game to Sunset Overdrive. IMO, the vibes are very similar, and the gameplay is as well, minus the rhythm aspect in HFR. My gf isn't much of a gamer, but she's loving this game so far, and I'm hoping to use Sunset Overdrive as the next stepping stone of getting her into gaming 😂
I've loved them for a long time, I was stoked to see them in the list and more so when the game took off because I was hoping some of the people who played the game might also become fans. Welcome, welcome. Allow me to recommend Austere and The Greatest Light Is the Greatest Shade if you haven't heard them already.
Coming here after the news, this game made me feel like a kid in the late 90s/early 2000s all over again and reminded me how beautiful gaming can be, really sad to see that there will never be a sequel thanks to corporate greed who only wanted another soulless cash cow, fuck you Microsoft for taking rareware and now this game from us.
This moment actually made me start crying. In a good way! Just...the gang, all together. They’ve been through so much, separate and joined. The end of the road is in sight, but they’re still ready to kick ass. Chai coming into his role as the heart of the team. They all have each other’s backs. Everyone gets the chance to shine, even-especially-CNMN. The era is ending, but there’s no tears, only smiles and hope. It has been literal years since a game made me feel like this. Made me fall in love with characters like this. And the gentle indie-pop ballad lends itself perfectly. Even typing this up I’m crying again. I never wanted this game to end, but every song’s got to, right. Hi-Fi Rush is the game we all needed. It feels like a reward for enduring all the AAA laziness, mtxs, NFT bullshit, and all the other nonsense so far. A love letter to an era we can ever truly get back, but *damned* if they didn’t try. I love this game so fucking much~
Congratulations on getting your *awesome* music into this sublime game! 🎉i was hyped to see The Joy Formidable advertised in the trailer. This game celebrates good music in such a fun way.👏
This was my first time playing this game and my first time hearing this song and it just struck me right in the heart that I just had to let my tears out. What a fantastic game for a new year.
More games need to do it honestly. Good music isn't something you can just throw money at and conjure from thin air. There are some really, really good artists, especially orchestral composers, who make really good original music for games, but most big games from big studios just have really forgettable soundtracks. There's a whole world of banging music to draw from, and if you have some decision makers with good musical taste in your company, the licensing costs are well worth having a soundtrack that people won't forget.
this song makes me cry happy tears i dunno why this game literally made this song just an amazing moment in my life, i fucking love the atmosphere and just knowing your about to be the bad guy and everyone is there and you made it here, and jesus this is the most uplifting moment in this entire game i love it, i love this game.
The gimmick of the game, is that everything revolves around the beat, playing to the beat deals bonuses like extra damage in fights, jumping higher, and 3 dodges when you dodge on beat
Got this game is so freakin awesome. The soundtrack is insanely fun, and this song goes so emotionally hard when you're playing this final level. Love this game.
In a game filled with perfect music choices, the penultimate level has the MOST PERFECT pairing. I was overjoyed when experiencing this for the first time, it was magic, it touched my soul and made me feel butterflies. I played this level again as soon as I was able to, and it was just as incredible as the first time.
Would you kindly give credit to @Frawbo a.k.a Fraubo_ for the gameplay. The title of his video is HI-FI RUSH - Final Stage [Streamer Mode Off] ruclips.net/video/BCnNBOwekVM/видео.html&ab_channel=Fraubo_ and this clip is on 8:27 on that video. He already asked you about it and he might give better video quality if you comply.
Your song really made this scene. Also, because of it I checked out some of your other stuff and just bought The Big Roar off of iTunes. I’m absolutely loving it. Your live performances also really really good.
Stayed up late playing this about 5:30 AM playing the final level, when this son kicks in. Iv never had so much fun on a final level. Hi Fi Rush the the blue prints of how to make a full game that's fun with a complete ending.
Fair play to ye's, what a tune, when this kicked in I started smiling more and I didn't stop till the game was done. I will be checking out your other work for sure but this is a tune or a mood both really I guess. Going on the comfort tune rotation for a long time.
Every time I play this level it makes me get emotional, the song could not have fit better. The first time I got to this stage and this music kicked in, i legitimately got teary-eyed!! so good
Honestly, seeing the whole family together and hearing Whirring after such a great scene with Chai had me crying tears of joy and I nearly died XD tears in my eyes with an old beauty in my ears my god
Thanks @Frawbo a.k.a Fraubo_ for the gameplay. The title of his video is HI-FI RUSH - Final Stage [Streamer Mode Off] ruclips.net/video/BCnNBOwekVM/видео.html&ab_channel=Fraubo_ and this clip is on 8:27 on that video.
Hi-Fi Rush is truly the most refreshing game I've played in years! It just came out of nowhere and took me on a wild ride! I hope that this marks the start of a video game renaissance, where the audience comes first. 💙
The quality and precision of your gameplay to the music makes me reflect on how lousy I was by comparison. But that's okay, because I think that's one of the joys of this game. You can stumble through it and still be dazzled and feel like you're doing incredible things, but if you keep at it, you can get better and better and see even better things.
I beat the game two days ago, and when this song came on, I said, "This is awesome!" Out loud, then I finished the game and proceeded to play the post game stuff throughout the night!
OK, so my journey started when I heard this song on Cinemax for a trailer of new movies they were going to be showing on the channel after month I found out the name of this song in tonight start listening to the song and it lead me here to this video of a game I wish I had the chance to play back then.
This song beat the hell out of you, and its so cool Credit goes to Fraubo_ for the original gameplay of this stage at ruclips.net/video/BCnNBOwekVM/видео.html (starting from 8:27 in that video)
RIP Tango Gameworks.
Your existence was short but your Games were Incredible!
The moment the lyrics kicked in during the first fight is one of the most emotionally impactful moments I've ever experienced in a game, thank you all so much for the experience.

I literally cried, this is so true!!
It honestly was. I had a moment where I used the team up finishers one after another to really drive the feeling home
The game and the sequence are very good. But that's a bit of strech.
@@user-di3dm1ob5d you know it's just an opinion, correct? it's not your opinion, of course, but that doesn't make it a 'stretch'

>Sunset Overdrive
>A Bombastic Adventure
Edit: What kinda bizzarro world you fking live in? My boi packing the taste buds of a dungfly
Imo Sunset Overdrive had a nice aesthetic but horrible sense of humor. This had both a great aesthetic and sense of humor
I'm glad to see someone else comparing this game to Sunset Overdrive. IMO, the vibes are very similar, and the gameplay is as well, minus the rhythm aspect in HFR. Was with you until the "gaming industry bad" comment.
I discovered the band through this game, the year practically started but it was one of the best things that happened to me this year
I saw them live in Portland in November. Top 1% of shows Ive ever seen. Highly recommend.
I've loved them for a long time, I was stoked to see them in the list and more so when the game took off because I was hoping some of the people who played the game might also become fans. @@GhengisJohn I haven't heard those yet, thanks friend
@@kami6421 Hurray! No problem and I hope you enjoy them.
This game is art and completely earns the right for this song to be in it
Absolutely love how everyone agrees that the moment the lyrics kick in on the first fight of the mission is one of the best moments
I can't believe one of my favorite songs is further immortalized in such an incredible game.
2:07 I cannot get over how well this combo fits the song at this exact moment
you're in for a treat... most interactions are like this
The most perfect pairing of a song and a video game in... FOREVER. Goosebumps the whole time.
So did something just click in all of us in this stage? I swear my rythm was impecable
I think so. I landed every hit in the parry segments including the one hit counter kills. Never did that before getting to this stage😂
I'm glad that this game has Streamer Mode, but man this song just hits more than the Streamer mode one
Why does an ordinary player need streamer mode ?
this part of the game hit my heart so hard, amazing song PERFECTLY chosen for the section. amazing amazing amazing

@@yuishdominguez5189 RIGHT!? Not a lot of video games have moments that make me cry, but this one, HOO BOY, ripped the tears outta me~!
No joke, this is my favorite level and is mostly because of your song.
I fuking love it.
Congratulations on getting your *awesome* music into this sublime game! 🎉i was hyped to see The Joy Formidable advertised in the trailer.
This game celebrates good music in such a fun way.👏
This was the moment I discovered this band, Truly incredible moment in the game, was just magical.
It took me way too long to realize the channel posting this video was The Joy Formidable’s official RUclips channel.
This was my first time playing this game and my first time hearing this song and it just struck me right in the heart that I just had to let my tears out. What a fantastic game for a new year.
Seeing bands like the Joy Formidable and Number Girl have songs on the soundtrack for this game make me want to get it even more.
This game better get a sequel or I will be very sad.
This song hits hard seeing how the team works together and supporting each other.
Thanks for lending your work to the game. I solemnly believe that licensed music used correctly is one of the coolest things games can do.
More games need to do it honestly. Good music isn't something you can just throw money at and conjure from thin air. Great game and great song
Credit goes to Fraubo_ for a fraction of this gameplay
wow this guy moves with the rythme
everything in the game does
He has a music player in his chest
The gimmick of the game, is that everything revolves around the beat, playing to the beat deals bonuses like extra damage in fights, jumping higher, and 3 dodges when you dodge on beat
I found this band through Need for Speed, and I'm glad so many more people can find you guys through this game!
Welp, guess I have to play this game now!
It's very good , I loved it
So glad they added this song! Love you guys love this game!
When this song kicked in after they all jumped out, I GOT MAJOR CHILLS. This song is amazing!
This song had NO REASON making me feel so emotional

There’s something about this song that makes you feel powerful in the game regardless of the power-ups equipped
I just completed the game and I didn’t have such pleasure from ost in a long long time.
