Miniature Racing Trucks - Remote Control Short Course Trucks - Northern Virginia RC Car Track

Most of us gen Y an Z kids had a remote control car, but there's a whole world of remote control car/trucks that takes all of that to another level. These are called Hobby style, and they are larger, faster and have complex suspension and power systems, using high powered electric and nitro fueled motors. They usually have oil filled coil over shocks and replaceable parts that can also be upgraded to stronger or lighter units. There are organized races in the United States through R.O.A.R, with local, national and international events.
The Hobby style remote control community has grown recently with the global response to Coronavirus, and there are many new people discovering the hobby.
If you are lucky enough to have a purpose built track nearby, you can take your remote control vehicle to it and really enjoy practicing or racing with others!
If you are looking for a remote control car track in Northern Virginia, there is actually a free track installed at Duff McDuff Green Memorial park in Fredericksburg VA. It is fairly well maintained, and is good for beginners, with some challenges for intermediate drivers.
there are some nice banked turns, a section of doubles, a table top jump and one long straight. There is also a crawler track along the wood line.
