im a rugby player, all macho aside .. american football is way more dangerous because the tackles are like missiles, its not tackling its straight up collission (you cant do that in rugby, you have to wrap the opponent on the tackles which lessen the impact) and a very high chance of taking hits from places you cant expect .. its the shots you dont see that knocks you out
