It's good to see a post launch Wii U title worth getting, hopefully this and the new Monster Hunter will sell well so more developers will consider working on the Wii U so it can hold it's own against the upcoming consoles with better hardware.

actually the average refers to the average (mean) score of games from gamespot so say they have rated 3 games i.e. game #1: 30/100, Game #2: 100/100 and game# 4 80/100 then the average score would not be 50 which is half of 100 but infact 70.

Actually, in most schooling systems, 75 is average, 50 is a fail. I agree 80 is a decent score, and I am going to love this game way more than that score would suggest, but 50 is not average, since bell curves were decided to be idiotic.
What does the score matter if he enjoyed it anyway? Score's are usually pretty arbitrary anyway. They tell you nothing about a game except that a single person thought it was worth whatever out of 5 or 10 or 100.
I don't get it. People ask Nintendo for good games on the Wii U, mainly third party (like this), but end up asking for a port on PlayStation/XBOX/PC when they hear it's a good game. I really don't get this hypocrisy. Do people want reasons to buy Nintendo systems, or don't they?
I'm actually a bit disappointed with this game from the time they announced it at E3, up until this review now. It just seemed like they were going to offer a lot more in this game and I could have sworn that multiplayer was going to be an interesting and seemless aspect. I'm still waiting to buy a Wii-U until Rayman comes out as when I played the demo recently, I was BLOWN away by how rad it was. By then I should have a few other great games to choose from. Until then its me, my PC and PS3.

Let's face it, Nintendo has to ride the coat-tales of nostalgia, because even when they went out of their way to get support for the Gamecube, they still don't get much because developers don't get Nintendo hardware. Nintendo doesn't have that many new IPs, so it makes people upset.

Always amazes me how genuinely great most lego games are.

This game is just so fun. I have dreamed of living in a LEGO city since I was a kid, and this game just makes me feel like one again. It's so good.

"Back then"? The console hasn't been out for even half a year yet, and it still got little worthwhile games! Whatever you're smoking it's potent.
Well my concern is that there isn't enough to do in the city. Just the gamplay, it looks fun, I'm just not sure about how long it will last...

I honestly was surprised how much I liked it as well. Had a very simplistic old school survival horror game feel to it.
