Probably. It's the same in any longterm relationship, friends included--you see the 20-year-olds from your platoon in 1987, not the old bald fat guys you've become. There's a point in life where you can look at an old person and see the young man or woman they used to be, and look at a youngster and see the old guy they'll turn into. It's why cinema is such a powerful art form, and why we're so captivated by actors and actresses. No other medium captures the human face and preserves it in time like film.
Vanessa, I love your story that you and Franco are really married and when I saw the movie again I looked at the both of you differently and could really see the love you have for each other in most of the scenes! i think tony richardson divorced her since he fell in love with some other actress, but to vanessa it was a tragedy because she wanted her family to stay together and she and franco did not want to get married to each other at the time...she was very complicated and extreme in her political views...i'm glad they found each other again and got married. i love them together!!!

This was not just acting but the honest , and obviously passionate and smoldering thing! Yes, it's true. Ten yrs ago I suffered the same cerebral event that Natasha did. I got to the hospital just in time. The docs simply drilled a hole in the top of my head to let pressure off. Of course I was unconcious when I arrived by ambulance and near death. But the burr hole procedure saved me. i woke up 24 hrs later. I was quite saddened by the death of Ms. Richardson.
They seem to have sidestepped the question about the possibility of more than one true love :-) I do respect Vanessa Redgrave's commitment to the issues and causes she believed in tho.
