It’s great to see that Cocora valley viewpoint and what it’s suppose to look like. When I went, it was so cloudy, you couldn’t see more than 5 meters in front of you. Major silent hill vibes 😅
Cool video! As a colombian who's backpacked Sout East Asia, I can tell everyone that South America is a really different backpacking experience. Maybe you can already tell, Joel, SEA is much more mass tourism and is definetely more prepared for it. South America since a few years ago is becoming more and more popular, and it is GORGEOUS but very different vibe. It's also much more western like. What are your thoughts so far? If you still have time in Colombia I would REALLY recommend places like Minca, the pacific coast in Ladrilleros, Guachaca near Tayrona park and la Guajira region.
There is an absolutely terrific little restaurant as you enter town called brunch, the best food I've had since I've been in Columbia I highly recommend it and everybody there speaks English
I recommend you to visit Santander and the city of Bucaramanga if you liked this place, in Santander you will find what for many is the best town in Colombia which is Barichara
"The Willys MB and the Ford GPW, both formally called the U.S. Army Truck, 1⁄4‑ton, 4×4, Command Reconnaissance, commonly known as the Willys Jeep". Maybe this is it.
For those who didn't know, Valle del Cocora is an ecological disaster. The palm tree forest should be an actual, densely packed forest, but because of livestock farming it now looks like that. It is very common to find downed palm trees because they don't have enough support to stay upright for their whole lives, support they do get when they're densely packed.
I don't wanna be pedantic but if you're interested in pronouncing quindío better you'd have to say Keen-Dee-O with a sort of dry O at the end, that O sounds like the O in Toll.
Actually, the "Willis" is more typical of the "Paisa" culture than colombian culture. The "Chiva" (a colorful and festive bus) is better know as colombian icon. You are very welcome to the "Tierra del Olvido", though.

Thank you for showing columbia. And showing the palm trees and coffee farm. Colombia is mega diverse in nature but unfortunately the reputation is not good for drug gangs.
Great quality video. Professional
Thank you so much! ☺️

08:46 what is it about South America that makes you want to go a little more vegetarian?
🙃Sorry to hear about your SD Card!
So which town is it Palomino or this one🤔
Palomino is in the North of Colombia by the Atlantic Ocean.
