Dude. You rock. I bought a bull float that someone used once and left concrete on it, and I've been wondering how to get it off without damaging the magnesium. Can't believe this works this well I'm gonna try it tomorrow. Thanks
Before you soak it in the vinegar, first go over the concrete with a wire wheel, on like 4 1/2" angle ginger, it will remove most of, then soak in the vinegar orvi use moratic acid water solution, and hit it again with the grinder after you have totally rinsed (real good) with water to neutralize the acid , you will be amazed !!
It does the trick I had a go at it the other day with an old tysak carbon steel trowel left it over night and scraped of the gunk the following day the only thing that’s different from ur vid is that my trowel turned black in colour which I’m cool with though it looks good
He says both, which is very confusing. This is just my experience with Vinegar: Depending on the strength of vinegar you use. Concrete removal = minutes to hours rust removal if bad is what takes days.

Thanks Pal for the great example
Thank you for this helpful video 😊

Thanks for the tip & also better to use baking soda and water to neutralize the acid.

Good job done saves money buying a new 1
Nice video. Just bought a mag for 50 cents and it needs some concrete removed. I’m trying this out now.
Any word on using acid-free concrete remover for this?
I got an old steel shovel would it sort that out
Nice work I will also try my tools
I do not recommend using muriatic acid on mag floats. It will pit it up something fierce and if you leave it in to long it will disappear
P.s use a side grinder takes 2 mins
float has paint on it
You canadian??
Yep
does the vinegar damage the tool?
No, it only takes a microscopic layer off the top.
Nice
Wystarczy czysta woda, ale bezpośrednio po pracy
Grinder wood y amos
how many days...??
He said a few minutes
He says both, which is very confusing.

Say mag trowel again please 🥶 it’s a Magnesium Float. Like a bull float. It’s . Not . A . Trowel
