    Will update this list with additional leads/safe swaps that I didn’t cover as needed:
    MAKE SURE YOU’RE ALWAYS THROWING ON GOOD TIMING IN THESE MATCHUPS: As a two turn user vs a three turn user, you’ll want to throw your charged move after 1, 4, 7, or 10 iterations of your fast move.
    1. Alolan Ninetales Lead: CHARM: If it’s non-shadow, you can go straight frenzy plant and force switch advantage in the one and two shield scenarios. If it’s shadow, it’s up to you if you want to throw frenzy plant or bait with aerial ace but if you successfully bait the aerial ace twice, not only will you get to a frenzy plant and take switch advantage, but you will do so all while only giving up one shield while they give up both. POWDER SNOW: Stay in with the serperior but play out the zero shield scenario instead. You will still lose the lead, but you either force massive damage with the frenzy plant or, more often than not, force shield advantage. You'll then come in with the a-slash after that.
    2. Umbreon Lead: Umbreon does win the zeros against serperior, so after you land two frenzy plants and they land two foul plays, you'll want to shield up their third foul play. This will then allow you to vine whip them all the way down before they reach a fourth foul play and therefore either force them to swap out (giving you switch advantage) or force them to stay in (giving you a TON of stored energy as well as switch advantage)
    3. Mandibuzz Lead: If it's air slash you'll want to swap into the sableye right away. Otherwise, if it's snarl, it’ll be preferred to stay in with serperior and spam off as many aerial aces as possible against it. It’s very crucial you throw on good timing in this matchup as if you have a high ranked serperior, you have the potential to get off 4 aerial aces against it which will bring the mandi into the red. When serp goes down, you'll then want to bring in the a-slash
    4. Steelix Lead: If the steelix is non-shadow, play out the zero shield scenario. You'll either win switch or shield advantage. If it's shield advantage, farm down with a-slash after. If it's shadow, play out the one shield scenario (but have them shield first as you win the zeros as well). If they double shield, let your serp go down and farm down the steelix with your a-slash. If they reach an eq in time, you'll give up your final shield to respect it.
    4. Registeel/Gligar Lead: Swap into you Sableye right away
    5. Charjabug Lead: Swap into your sableye right away. Sable wins the 2 shield scenario against charja when behind a turn (due to it taking a turn when you swap). However, sableye wins the 1 shield scenario as well when even on energy. So if your opponent overfarms and gives you the opportunity to throw a foul play first. Make sure you do so but throw it after 7 shadow claws so it's on good timing.

      Since it's a gligar lead you'll want to swap in your sableye right away. And try your best to force switch advantage. If you can't get switch, try and get as much energy on your serp as you can as frenzy plants still hit gligar really hard

    Grass is so underutilized in this meta and Serperior is such a beast. I've been running a Serperior/Meganium backline and so many opponents just quit when they see my third pokemon. I'm not Legend good but I rode double grass from 2200 to 2700+ very quickly.

      What are you running in the lead with Meganium and serperior?

    • @timcollins8825
      @timcollins8825 Год назад

      Lickitung. Teams with Azu or Lanturn are like an instant win. Some common pokemon can be a little challenging to face (A-Slash, Gligar, Regi, Medicham) but are manageable in total. Serperior can dish out a lot more damage than you would expect to even its biggest counters.

    • @KPine
      @KPine  Год назад +1

      I think a good lead for this team would be water gun lanturn. Gives coverage against gligar, other fliers, fire, and ice that your double grass back line doesn't want to see

    With aol sandslash, would it be bad to build an attack weighted one? Or have to be low attack iv?

    • @KPine
      @KPine  Год назад +1

      Lower attack weighted alolan sandslash tend to perform better than more attack weighted ones because of the higher stat product and more bulk. This could be pretty important in being able to get off a last second move since a-slash hits so hard
