Roper is the afroamerican enemy of the DD series however here uses a machine gun like willy mackey ,rare didn´t knew much about the DD series and got confused ,and the shadow boss is supposed to be the guy that is the final boss in the NES version of double dragon 2 however he looks more like burnov
