I just ordered mine because my current macbook is 7 years old lol. I got the gold because I really loved the color, and I plan on having this laptop for about 5-10 years, so why not? and it’s something different
I’m getting mine in a few hours, and i chose the space gray. i think the silver shows scratches easier, and the gold is kinda tacky and i feel like i’d get bored of it.

Please stop using a hard case! It can seriously damage the hinge. A sleeve is more than enough to protect it on the go. Also make sure to don’t close your macbook with the keyboard cover on. It will prevent the macbook from closing properly, creating room between the screen and the body, making it easier to damage it

Yes :( I honestly could type better without the keyboard protector. I usually use it when theres food/drinks beside me but when I’m free from those things, I dont use a keyboard protector anymore.

Well some probably don’t know or don’t care, some probably in need of a new laptop, also based on the rumours of new macbook air, all white bezels and keyboard right? I personally will take the current macbook over those just for the design, well maybe just me haha also if the rumours are true, the macbook air price also will increase for the new macbook, which also the factor why i want the current macbook. But hey, your point is also valid. Can’t imagine the frustration when u actually can get a better macbook air XD
