heres an unboxing video of the new macbook air 2021 with an m1 chip! ive waited for 2 weeks for this. i chose the color silver cos its just simple and clean-looking. i initially wanted the gold one but i realized that its too bold and its just not my personality.

The only thing I’m gonna say is I’ve heard the case is that you put on the MacBook affects the airflow of the computer, you don’t have to take it off, but that’s what I’ve heard. Please stop using a hard case! It can seriously damage the hinge. A sleeve is more than enough to protect it on the go. Also make sure to don’t close your macbook with the keyboard cover on. It will prevent the macbook from closing properly, creating room between the screen and the body, making it easier to damage it
Thanks for this but I’m a really, really clumsy person so I really had to use hard case to prevent it from getting scratches. 😢😢😢

I'm excited I've been saving for months and I'll finally buy mine this week. I'm still not sure what color to get but it doesn't really matter as long as it works for college it's okay lol.
I like the space grey one, but thats subjective. So just try to look for some reviews and videos to figure out which colour suits you the best and of which you wont be annoyed after one week.
I just ordered mine because my current macbook is 7 years old lol. I got the gold because I really loved the color, and I plan on having this laptop for about 5-10 years, so why not? and it’s something different
I’m getting mine in a few hours, and i chose the space gray. i think the silver shows scratches easier, and the gold is kinda tacky and i feel like i’d get bored of it.

- 0.4 sec interval on each letter
- then add the typing sound from final cut pro

This might me random but I’m too much of a overthinker and am getting really confused so please give your opinions if you like, I’m getting a MacBook but I just can’t decide which like the Air is cheaper and I can buy 512gb for like $1200 but the pro is expensive but I REALLY like the touch bar and I’ve watched like almost every single video on RUclips but still can’t figure out. They say the pro and the air are like the same quality so please help me decide if I should get the MacBook Air 512gb or Maxbook Pro 256gb and if the 256gb is enough for online school and to use for like 5+ years
I dont think 256gb Will last you 5+ years... Im geting one TB
You could get the 256gb and just get an external hard drive for more storage in the future

Question: do you remove the keycaps protector when you close the laptop?? Because I used to leave it in but then I saw the message from Apple saying not to put keycaps protector on macbooks with Retina display… so I’m just wondering….
Yes. I do remove it. I also only use it when I'm eating or I have a drink on the side. ;----)

Well some probably don’t know or don’t care, some probably in need of a new laptop, also based on the rumours of new macbook air, all white bezels and keyboard right? I personally will take the current macbook over those just for the design, well maybe just me haha also if the rumours are true, the macbook air price also will increase for the new macbook, which also the factor why i want the current macbook. But hey, your point is also valid. Can’t imagine the frustration when u actually can get a better macbook air XD

Yes :( I honestly could type better without the keyboard protector. I usually use it when theres food/drinks beside me but when I’m free from those things, I dont use a keyboard protector anymore.
