Hello Eglis, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2025. I have several questions. 1.) Is the open impetus started from outside partner because it is preceded by Curved Feather? 2.) Can I substitute the open impetus after curved feather, with outside spin but end it Open, so to do the weave from PP. 3.) I thought outside spin ending open after curved feather is easier for lady to expect it. Because generally Impetus is done with lady stepping Inlined to man. Can you give me guidance in how lady would be able to determine difference from outside spin vs impetus from outside partner position? 4.) The twist turn has a hover feather ending as the QQ, correct ? 5.) The hover telemark after the twist turn ends open or closed ? To me it looks like it ends closed because lady is stepping diagonally back toe heel with her heel leading. Although, the hover telemark could be open because both man and lady heads are turned to right by the last Quick of the SQQ for the hover telemark? Please explain my above questions. Hello Regina, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Let me clarify the Slow Foxtrot details: 1) Yes, after Curved Feather Next step always is outside partner. 2) Outside Spin cannot end in PP. 3) For Open Impetus: partner dances heel turn and leads you around him so that you dance second step to side. For Outside Spin: on second step partner turns you on the spot so that close left to right foot. 4) Yes, Twist Turn has Feather Ending QQ 5) Hover Telemark. Correct, in video Hover Telemark ends in closed position. Lady turns her head to right as response to partner's sway. This figure can end either in closed or Promenade Positions. Let me know if you need clarification.
