I was thinking about going back on site but thanks to this video and the nightmares of being a brickie in winter (and obviously it's not winter now) I'm staying put. All the respect to the guys who like yourself are grafting on site though. 👍👏✊
I do private work, and have done for over 25 years.Youve got to be established and most of my graft is word of mouth. It takes over 10 years to be established in the private sector so anyone who drops off the sites and expects constant work is pissin in the wind in my opinion unless you subby for an established builder.Stay on site if you are happy with price per brick /block etc.....The good thing about private work is,you're in the shower by 5 not 6👍🙈

What is the private life like though? Like are you ever out of work and is the money any better?

Hahaha, yeah man you got a new sub 👍🏻
Not realy a very good advert for anyone thinking of buying a new house watching footings being laid in water is it 🤔
It’s not all sunshine and rainbows is it. This is the reality or building in the UK
@@PATTERSONCONSTRUCTION looking at that job it isn't
@@rudo747 hard work mate 😢
If any home buyer thinks a house is built in glorious conditions around the clock then they’re deluded.
He’s in the water. Not the bricks he’s laying. Fair play to him. Rudo u seem like a litttle willy
Shocking.
Good job dont know why u wasted time and a brick to bond over hole when u got a tape
Fair point to be fair
We used to dig a sump hole and bail the water out . Took 20 minutes at the most . Uf water is upsetting your life , you're in the wrong game . 😜
This is why we stopped building footings after 13 years 🧱🌧🌧
Honest mate I rarely do them. I’d rather save my back, although i am enjoying it after being stuck on peaks for nearly 3 weeks
:d
