I think its time for me to explain what happened. About four months ago from now I started dating, I was really happy that I had a boyfriend I knew him online so our relationship was from a far distance. He told me that he loved me and because of that I trusted him. Later on he started acting different, he started saying mean things to me, harassing me, and stabbing insults at me even when I tried to be nice to him, insults sometimes hurt, but when it's from a loved one it feels like something got impaled in your body. In the end he turned out to be a compulsive lying monster that broke my heart and manipulated me like a puppet, he only pitied me. He did so many things to me that I consented to because I trusted him. And that little blue ribbon of trust just snapped. In the end, my innocence is gone. The color white represents innocence and it was tainted by a bloody red. We broke up. I remember I was on a trip that day. My family went to a place that we went to every year. There was a graveyard or a mausoleum there. Back then I was always scared to walk there alone. Until now. Its funny how someone is able to overcome their fears when faced with another emotion. I remember picking a flower from a nearby garden and putting it on one of the gravesites. I wasn't grieving the loss of a loved one, I was the grieving my loss of love. The reason why I made the theme of this horror based was well, you cant exactly make your audience empathize with you until you make them go through what your feeling, in this case, fear and trauma.
To my ex if your watching this,
Sometimes I still miss you and I hate it because the love I shared with you was false. You spread false rumors that I cheated on you or that I did something awful, which I would never do, I tried being nice, I tried making you happy but you just pushed me away. I'm sorry that I called you a monster and I'm sorry if this may have made your mental health worse, but I just cant understand people who manipulate others, its not right. And I know you know that. I used to have dreams where I danced with you, and now their nightmares where you hurt me. I'm not here to lecture you I just think that you should probably go talk to a therapist about this, you traumatized me and you don't feel guilty about it. I wont accept any verbal apologies nor will I get back with you. I know its hard to do but if you want me to forgive you then change, not for me, but for you and never do this to another soul. Back then I thought I was weak, and you told me that I was and I believed it. But why should I trust a compulsive liar

This video really resonated with me because it reminded me so much of how I felt about my online relationship with my abusive ex boyfriend. The mask scene really hit me hard, then I saw your description and I realize that you went through the very same thing I did. The pathological lying, manipulation, insults, smear campaign, they all sound like you had a traumatic relationship with a narcissist, someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. You might be able to relate as it really sounds like you had a similar, traumatic, relationship.
A narcissist lacks empathy and is self absorbed, they cannot form real connections, but rely on other people to supply them with validation because of their poor self esteem. They prey on people who are genuine, empathic, and caring, because they know we can keep giving them endless "supply". They all use the same playbook, at first it begins with love-bombing, gradually collecting information about us, gaining our trust and learning about our boundaries, you quite literally feel like you're on a pedestal. After a while though, it's not enough and they start to gaslight you, lie to your face, manipulate you, and start putting you down. You struggle trying to please them, because they never seem like you're enough. They "future-fake", which is a term where they play up your dreams/desires to keep you locked to them, this includes promises of marriage, commitment and other things, so you can put up with their bullshit and keep you tied, hoping, hoping, that'll one day they'll deliver. Eventually, when they are bored and feel like they can't get anymore supply, they tear you down, dehumanizing you and making you feel worthless. Once you stand up to their bullshit and feel like they can't manipulate you anymore, or you've quite literally turned into a husk of a person from their abuse, they "discard" you, and when they do that can you finally see the real person behind the "mask." They are truly awful people, hiding their abusive, vapid, identity behind what would seem like a genuinely caring person, it's however, all fake. In the aftermath of the breakup, they try to smear your name to preserve their precious ego, and lie about everything to paint YOU as the villain, and them as a victim. In the meantime, they hop on to the next relationship they can get so they can have more "supply" or validation. That's why they move on so quickly, their connection to you was purely transactional, they didn't truly care about you to begin with as we are nothing but objects to suck affection/attention from. I'm so sorry you went through what you did, narcissistic relationships are extremely traumatizing, I was with my online ex bf for 8 months and endured the same exact pattern. While it may seem he's treating his current girlfriend better, it will follow the abuse cycle again. It ALWAYS does. Don't beat yourself over that, they will never change. Eventually he will leave yet another person to suffer. It's been a while since you guys split but it does help immensely to read about NPD and better understanding what you went through. It will also teach you about narc red flags to better prepare you for future relationships, I really enjoy Doctor Ramani's stuff here on RUclips. I hope you're healing well, and that you may never cross paths with another person like that, but if you do, at least you'll know what to do about it and save yourself from more agony.

Hey the longer the comments the better, You are completely right, my ex is a narcissist. He eventually did the same thing he did to me to two his girlfriends after me, they both broke up with him. He got called out for it on vrchat, only to go back into the community under a different name. After all this happened, I tried to tell other people what happened to me, that he wasn't a good guy and shouldn't have been trusted. He eventually heard about it and sent people after me to go harass and be-little me. There was a reason why I couldn't find his previous ex's or friends, it was because he shut them all up. I was the first, and the only one to make it. Yes, he has an alt account, and he's still out there just under another name. He doesn't think of me as a human being however, he just thinks of me as some evil queen, a character in a story. He will never change his ways, those who don't learn from their history, are destined to repeat it.
For the longest time I felt like nobody believed me. I thought I was wrong, I thought that what I went through wasn't valid, but I was being lied to. Thank you, I'm glad I'm not alone.
@@Dudeswagmaster ofc!!!! for the longest time I felt alone too!! then i discovered the terms trauma bonding and future-faking and that's how I discovered what NPD was, even tho at one point my ex did admit he thinks he had it, (i had no clue what it was back then.) Learning more about it finally helped me understand what I went through, and that nothing was actually my fault. It was always him projecting his faults on to me, putting me down because he needed to feel like he was better than me, despite all the unconditional love I gave. I'm not at all surprised your ex did that to the following girlfriends, my ex did the exact same thing!! Smear campaign where I was a cheater (despite him being the one to cheat on me!!!) He blocks all his past victims and changes account names so he can remain undercover and collect more unknowing victims. NPD abuse has affected thousands of people, and the impact it has can leave us hurting for years and years. The self blame and confusion is UNREAL BAD because we're trying to piece together a person that makes absolutely no sense. The worst part is that they feel literally no remorse, no shame, no empathy, or anything human really. They're actual monsters without a conscious, manipulating as much as they can so they can take what they want from us. Your video actually makes me tear up a little because I feel so seen, especially the wedding scene as my ex manipulated the hell out of me and really convinced me we were gonna have this amazing future together, then the day came where we broke up and he admitted he never had any intention of ever seeing me. It was all for his amusement. :/ I like to frequent the reddit board r/narcissticabuse because it's very affirming to know that I'm not the only person who has been hurt by these freaks of nature. Apparently "covert narcissists" love online long distance relationships because of how easy it is to alter our reality with lying, and remaining under cover behind a screen. Again, it's been a couple months since my discard but the after effects do stick around, even subconciously. It's so hard to trust people at face value now, given we had partners that lied to our faces for the entire relationship, like, it still boggles my mind that these people exist!!!!
