Hey thanks for making this review; you got me into the demos which got me into what I think'll be my fav game of all time. Oh and BTW, I find that the game doesn't have ABSOLUTELY no replayability. Talking about gameplay, no it doesn't. But if you LOVE the story, script, voice acting and humour, you'll want to replay it (I understand u wouldn't, and its opinion). I'm gonna get this game as my first 360 game, and I can tell it'll be my fav (or one of my favs). Thanks for uploading this review.
Few things: 1) If you haven't rented it before, and you can't buy it for rent, do you think its worth 20$ on Wii/X360? 2) Are you gonna try Season 2 later (i.e. Christmas Break or Summer Break)? 3) Whats your: *Hardest Episode *Easiest Episode *Best Episode *Funniest Episode *Least-Liked most Episode 4) Have you tried any of Season 2's PC Demo? If not, can you? The demos are on TellTale's website. 5) What score would u give the game if it didn't have technical issues?
I love playing this on my Wii. It does have some framerate issues, but they never reallly affect the gameplay. Loadtimes good (except for the driving stages).
@Subscriber0101 Yeah, I'll admit I had to use a walkthrough like 2-3 times. I can't say for sure, but I think it took me about 6-8 (10?) hours to beat. Critical thinking'll get ya.
@IslandBros15 For those reasons yes, and also, it's definitely not a game for everyone. If you're looking for a game that will give you instant gratification, look somewhere else. However, if you're a patient person, you might enjoy this game.
That must be a problem with the Wii version. I have Season 1 on XBOX Live Arcade and the framerate doesn't seem to suffer there. PC version is prolly just as good too. :P
@FreQuenczy - Oh. After playing Eps 1-3's demos, the entire 4th ep and episode 5's demo (im saving ep 6 for later), I REALLY want to buy this game. I'll get it on 360 or Wii or PC. But how come you don't think its worth a buy? IMO, its addicting and fun and satisfying 2 play. I'm one of those people who LOVES stories like i saw in this game, so I'll like this. Oh yeah, what episodes have you and have you not completed/tried? And did u beat the game? And how come u don't use subtitles?
I'd recommend buying this game for PC if possible instead of the Wii. Once I got a free Sam & Max game from Steam for free, and it was pretty awesome. I can see why the Wii version can be glitchy at times, as it is a port. However, on a PC (provided you have a fast enough one), all of these issues are virtually non-existant. I'm more of a console person, myself...but some games just work better on PC. Just look at The Sims for example. Anyway, as always, great review!
I got Season 2 for Wii, 20$ new. If I win ur lightninglavalamp request contest, I'll reccomend it. But its already been requested, correct? What were ur siblings thoughts of this game?
@FreQuenczy you know the problem is that telltale listen to the complains about the crude humor of this game and make season 3 completely family friendly dialogs and stuff i wonder if telltale will bring season 3 to wii when the season is finished
3:06 - 3:16 I have had that problem in other point-and-click games where you walk like Strong Bad and this game's PC Demo and Episode 4 as a free download. What was I saying about 3:06 - 3:16? Oh yeah, I think thats more of an issue with the game than a Control issue.
@Subscriber0101 I already beat the game, and since there is absolutely no replayability, there's no point in buying it. Subtitles? Didn't think about it.
Got S1 for Wii, 20$ (New shockingly, originally 40$ here in Canada apparently). I Love it. Beat Episode One, and some of the video tells me you got far in it. Im in Ep 2 now.
@Subscriber0101 1. To the right person who has patience and likes puzzles, yes. 2. Most likely no. It would have to be a Magical Chicken request. 3. Can't remember. 4. Nope, and I don't know. 5. Probably a 4/5
@TigerTaint Well it's the lowest Awesome! if that makes you feel better. Also, it's just a title. People need to look at the # more than the title. And a 3.75/5 is a 7.5/10 which I do not consider slightly above mediocre.

Hey, mind doing a review of Rabbits go Home? That would be great!
@SomeFluffer64 All telltale games have framerate issues on Wii
That must be a problem with the Wii version. I have Season 1 on XBOX Live Arcade and the framerate doesn't seem to suffer there. PC version is prolly just as good too. :P
@FreQuenczy - Did you use any walkthrough and how long did it take u to beat it?
What game do you like more: Safecracker the Ultimate Puzzle Adventure or Sam and Max: Season One?

@FreQuenczy -Wow! Techincal issues only give it a -.25 score? I'm surprised.

@IslandBros15 Yep.
@FreQuenczy One of them. The one that you said "No, but it is worth a rent."

@FreQuenczy
you know the problem is that telltale listen to the complains about the crude humor of this game and make season 3 completely family friendly dialogs and stuff i wonder if telltale will bring season 3 to wii when the season is finished
You shoudl do Season 2 next!
@superbartman147 - Totally agree with you (but its called Beyond Time & Space; not beyound Space and Time).
@FreQuenczy yeah because the game looks short and according to gamespot, there is no replayability
Hey freQuenczy could you please review monster hunter tri? I love your reviews.
3:06 - 3:16
I have had that problem in other point-and-click games where you walk like Strong Bad and this game's PC Demo and Episode 4 as a free download.

@Subscriber0101 I already beat the game, and since there is absolutely no replayability, there's no point in buying it.
Subtitles? Didn't think about it.

@Subscriber0101 No, but it is worth a rent.
@Subscriber0101 ok my mistake
@TigerTaint Well it's the lowest Awesome! if that makes you feel better. Also, it's just a title. People need to look at the # more than the title. And a 3.75/5 is a 7.5/10 which I do not consider slightly above mediocre.
