    I have a multicooker pressure and it replaced my rice cooker, my steamer, and my slow cooker. I haven't noticed any reduction in flavor, in fact I think it adds more flavor. I agree, veggies and pasta can get mushy if you don't know what you're doing but the learning curb is quite low and there are so many youtube videos how to use them and plenty of recipes for them. These reasons for not to get one are silly. The only annoying thing about my pressure cooker is that it can take awhile to fully pressurize

    • @kitchengadgetzone
      @kitchengadgetzone  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for visiting. Sounds like your multicooker pressure has been a game-changer! They're versatile and efficient, right? Totally agree about the learning curve-RUclips tutorials are lifesavers! The wait for pressurization can be a bummer, but that flavor boost makes it worthwhile, doesn't it? 🍲✨

    The good thing about the multi cooker is that it can do the slow cooking, pressure cooking, steaming, etc.
    Some of the reasons not to get one do not apply.
    Like yes, you can overcook the vegetables if you use it in pressure cooking. But smart people know it would not be the right application.
    I personally would not use it to steam vegetables because it is more practical to just use a steamer, but absolutely love it for soups, stews, sauces, broths and cakes

    Wow, somebody has gone through a lot of trouble to make the multi-cooler look bad, all the "reasons" you listed for not getting a multi-cooker apply to the rice and pressure cooker you suggested, so what's your point,? And I doubt that anyone actually thought a multi cooker means you can cook multiple meals at one time..(I can't believe you said that) it means it has multiple uses, eg: pressure. Sauté, fry, broil etc, get my drift. This is the same channel that promoted the multi-cooker to us now saying ops we made a mistake.😅 you are making me feel like going out and getting one now.

  • @marchervais1269

    I bought a pressure multicooker, and i am so delighted with it that i cracked for the same one when i saw an ad of a user who didn't even open it for a very low prices. He might have been watching your video.
    First the arguments that you give are clearly exaggerated. On my machine you do not need to put the top for instanceif you don't cook with pressure. For instance if i simmer a meat or fish or veggies, i don't need to put the top. And if i put the top as on a casserole, i can always lift it to see what's happening.
    my cooker can work as a slow cooker as well
    Furthermore, when i cook with pressure, i can always resume cooking if it turns out that it's not cooked enough. For instance when i cook my potatoes with perssure, it can be unsufficiently cooked depending on the type of potatoes and their size. So i give a first go to get them al dente, at the end i remover the pressure, i see how it is, and if needed i put them back. The second ride will be fast, because everything inside is already hot, and the poressure will come quickly.
    It goes rather quick in pressure, because i never put too much water in the bottom.
    Unlike with a stove top, i never burned the bottom pf the pot, because there is a security.
    and in terms of energy it's much cheaper than many cooking tools to use.
    The point is to know if you are already a good cook, and you want to master this thing. If it is so, you can make great things with it. If it is not the case, you can as wille eta delyvered food all day long, because no cooking tool will be good for you.
    I think that your video is biaised and that you wanted to prove your point regardless of the benefits that we can make with multicookers

    i've cooked on everything out there, personally and professionally: gas, coiled electric heat stovetops, induction countertop and stove top, integrated electric non-pressure cookers (zojirushi) - even outdoor coal and wood.
    multi-cookers / "insta-pots" are hands-down the best, the latest instapot can even air-fry (idk how practicable and can't speak for results, haven't tried that one yet).
    this vid sells fiction as facts that would only be correct in an upside-down reality... you can literally take everything that's said there as the opposite! what is going on, who wrote the script for this vid???
    you can in fact cook several dishes at once in a multi-cooker, if you separate them;
    they heat up rather fast / build up pressure if you have a good one (ie instapot) - it's basic physics... what heats faster, a pot that literally lets very little heat escape (multi-cooker / instapot), or a pot that's not insulated on the outside and heat escapes there and at the cooking element the pot sits on also??? the answer should be a no-brainer even if you have just an avg iq.
    and another thing is, you can just "walk away" (go to work, take a nap, cook overnight, ...) and don't have to baby-sit. you can't do that with stove-top (well, you can, but it comes with its own risks and is not advised to do that).
    also, a multi-cooker / instapot isn't just for pressure cooking (at least the ones i had), but you can do anything with them that you can with traditional stove top cooking.
    also clean-up is super easy (if you don't cook with oil, with everyone knows nowadays that you shouldn't do anyhow due to oxidation that releases free radicals in your body AKA ages your body's cells and thus you faster).
    there's much more, but i'm just going to stop here.
