At the first appointment we carry out a thorough assessment and take any necessary radiographs or CT scans. A treatment plan is proposed if you are suitable for dental implant treatment.
Dental implant surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic while you are awake or if you prefer to be asleep we can provide conscious sedation.
With just 2 dental implants in the lower jaw we can stabilise and make a lower full denture more comfortable. The overdenture then clicks onto implants rather than just sitting ontop of the gum tissues.

What about the process of osseointegration - where the implant becomes secure in the bone?
Mandibular takes 2 months, and maxillary takes 6 months, and only then can the implants be used to secure the dentures!
