Very helpful review. I just got my 1st lv and it's the Palermo. I was a little bummed I didn't get one made in France, but this video made me feel better. I think lv is now putting fabric tags on the inside saying where the purse was made, different from how they used to emboss it on the leather. I heard some people complain about that, but I agree w/ them.
Yeah, I haven't gotten one of the fabric tag bags yet... and while I'm not running to buy one - I think that if I didn't have a choice (i.e. a new style came out that I really loved & only came in fabric tag) then I wouldn't let it bother me. I think anyways, lol! The Palermo is a great bag though, I think you'll love it! Thanks for watching!
My Palermo is from 2008 also. Mine has help up very well, too, although I don't have the zipper issue that you do. Mine doesn't get stuck or require two hands.

I bought this bag based on your video, I do love the bag but when I add lots if stuff I find it turns into a bucket shape, that's the only thing but other than that what would you recommend for a everyday bag. No kids and I work full time, I usually have 2 phones and 2 makeup cases among some other small things.

If you rub a candle on the zipper teeth the wax will enable it to move smoother. Use a white candle.
