I love this stuff. It defines so well and makes my hair soooooo shiny. The only issue is finding leave-ins that will work with it, since I don't like wash 'n go's with just gel.

I did not like the no shrink gel. Too heavy for my hair. I think it will come out amazing. I made the same mistake and bought the don't shrink which had too much protein and it just frizzed my front side pf my hair. Curl boss is a better choice, there is some protein but definitely not a lot like don't shrink flaxseed gel. COCONUT!

I just this week threw away the Aunt Jackie's curl la la. Maybe I got a bad jar, I don't know, but the thing flaked on its own in my hair. I did the test + gel and it didn't curdle, so I thought I could put it in my hair. Wrong! It flaked on me. On a piece that I hadn't tested yet, I tried it on its own, and a very minimal amount too, and it flaked! I threw that jar out. I no longer will be purchasing anything by Aunt Jackie's for this reason. I still have the fix my hair hair mask to go through and that is fine, but I think I'll be sticking to Shea Moisture (curl enhancing smoothie), that *never* messed with my hair!

My hair used to be wavy to curly and for years now it's mostly just way too dry, and I get scared to put anything in it because I used to oil it with olive oil and I look back and pictures and it looked SO oily...! I don't even mind if I get some frizz if I can just get some of my waves and curls back!
