    You don’t have to be a socialist to want better working conditions and wages for everyday people like us! You’re absolutely right, however you can want those without slandering ideologies my friend. That being said, keep up the great work on videos! I really like your classic chelsea videos as there aren’t many out on it. Planning to get a pair when they return

      I appreciate the input, complements, and criticisms. From the sounds of it when I talked to them. These might be pushed out on production until as late as mid 2022, so if your really wanting a pair the classic Chelsea is definitely on slim Pickens right now.

    Been eyeing these boots love the Christy sole

      They are nice, but I think I'm going to opt for JR leather soles when it's time for me to resole. I've been really practicing leading my step in my lower arch/heel shoes/boots like I would in minimalist shoes striking ball to heel , and it's really helping keep my soles from burning threw the heel as fast as they're known for going.

    What's the best products to use for maintenance on these 1220?

    • @ThomasSteed

      Well it really depends on if you want them to get darker, if you want increased waterproofing, or if your intent is for them to develop those full natural patina as you'd like.

    Can’t find that one at the store anymore….. sad

      Yeah, they aren't running the classic Chelsea right now. I'm honestly hoping they're redesigning a Chelsea with the same sole and heel as the iron ranger with a shank, and full heritage construction.

    I
    Have the same boot why your are so dark ?

    • @ThomasSteed
      @ThomasSteed  2 года назад +1

      Because I use Obenauf's heavy LP on them. Obenauf's will darken just about anything you put it on, I personally like it. If you don't want them getting darker, and to just naturally patina I'd not condition with anything except maybe bick 4, and not until they are in need of a solid cleaning first. You can also use spray on water repellents that don't effect color as well.

      Of course! I'm not a big channel I don't have enough people commenting that it's hard to communicate with viewers. I enjoy the communication, and answering anyone's questions I can.

      Can we walk in the snow with these boot I live in Canada winter is hard 😅

    • @ThomasSteed
      @ThomasSteed  2 года назад

      @@rickd4404 yes, but It's not intended as a snow boot. Wool socks, and waterproofing if you plan on it. Probably not the best on ice either. I've seen people take the wedge sole into their cobbler get them shaved, and have a Vibram fire and ice tread added to the bottom. If you need a solid winter snow boots, I'd look at Hoffman though.
