I have discontinued Netflix due to its price hike. Now im back watching youtube channels. Your channel have grown a lot, Jim. Rewatching old episodes now, trying to catch up.
@24:38 As always, I'm very easy to please. For those that don't know, the Brave series was sort-of a spiritual successor to the Japanese G1 Transformers series. It was handled by Sunrise (yes, THAT Sunrise, the ones that did Gundam) and Takara, with Sunrise doing the animation while Takara provided the toyline. It's essentially Transformers on super robot steroids and it span 8 shows from 1990 to 1998, with two crossover RPGs on the PS1 (the one on-screen being the second one). If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend it. At least start with its final entry, The King of Braves GaoGaiGar and then move on from there. That's my anime recommendation for the day.
Happy Saturday Jim & it's finally time for awesome Japanese video game hunting here! I enjoy all of these retro video game videos you've posted so far and it's worth it! Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend mate!
some great pickups! 40:15 actually Darius Twin is available on the darius cozmic collection! there's a couple of them on switch, but one is specifically featuring the console stuff and I grabbed it as soon as I could just for Twin! I still wanna track down a real copy on SNES/SFC though. also need to track down gokujo parodius at some point for the collection as well.
The first Pokemon games came out when I was in 6th grade and for that year Pokemon was pretty much the biggest thing in my life (maybe tied with Ocarina of Time), but by the following year when Gold/Silver came out I had completely lost interest. I didn't touch a Pokemon game for over 20 years, but I got back into them last year and now I think they're my favorite games of all time.
Hi Jim! I love retro game hunting. It's a beautiful Saturday today with nice sunny weather, and there's a lot of great stuff at hard off. I enjoy watching your retro game hunting videos jim its quite a perspective of gaming consoles. And it's worth it, plus everyone can purchase xbox 360 consoles.

Still not a series I've ever had the inclination to dabble with

I'll take a SNES over a PS3 any day
Makes sense
I’ll take a Mega Drive instead of a SNES and a PS3 any day. But yeah, I would also take a SNES over a PS3 any day too.
@24:30 Fwiw, the term "CarPG" is a thing...
I learned something today
I have the Soul Edge Arcade Stick...thanks xD
What I meant to say was, it's a great stick and everybody should have one
Hey jim i was wondering how much for a loose sharp twin famicom out there? Thanks
Hard to say really, in the $150 range I guess
The 38,500 yen was for a Game Boy Player + a GameCube. Not just a Game Boy Player.
I'm so good at paying attention to things
300 bucks still too much
I like, comment, and subscribe!
A man of class and culture, as always 👍
Don't tell anybody Jim, but I enjoyed this trilogy more than the matrix trilogy 👌
