While you are spot on your roughly biweekly schedule, it feels like so long since you were on because we are coming directly off the daily vlogmas videos! So happy to see everyone welcome you back and excited for this video :)
The fact that I've been following you and your content for nearly 5 years, after coming across your 5 AM Morning Routine in the summer of 2020 is mad to me, and I've enjoyed every minute of it! Welcome back, and Happy New Year! I've missed you, Mo
Yay! Awesome Video! I loved “A Psalm For the Wild Built.” It made me want to want to figure out a way to serve tea to my patients at work. That way I could be a Tea Monk too.
Happy New Year Morgan & Landon! 🫶 I loved Fourth Wing so much, cannot wait for the third book. My first reads of the year were The Spellshop and Quicksilver. Loved both. Currently reading AnnieBot and it’s making me angry at times but the book is so interesting. I think you would love Mhairi McFarlane books; I’d recommend starting with Between Us.
I love watching your videos❤️ I can’t describe it well, but every time you give me something. Sometimes a reminder to see the beauty in the little things, other times it’s hope that everything will be alright❤️ I hope 2025 is gonna be a good year for you, and that you’ll find books that will change your life forever❤️
Welcome back and Happy New Year! I am embarking on a big book project on Substack this year and while I am a bit nervous, I am looking forward to building community around stories, specifically by women authors around the world. Happy reading to you!
Welcome back Morgan. I devoured your 2024 Vlogmas and went back to watch previous years Vlogmas videos because I wasn't quite finished with Christmas. Glad you are back! Excited to watch this vlog!
I am currently falling in love with reading again after a many many years reading rut. So i am here for all the cozy reading content! 📚☕️💕 I'm currently reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and loving it. I think you have me aold on Winter Solstice after so many mentions!
Winter Solstice ❄️ is a wonderful read. The detailed descriptions paint pictures of the landscape that so captured my heart that they will not be forgotten!!! The descriptions of place have become the standard of finding the coziest place one can imagine along with the family that has chosen you and loved you at your weakest, most vulnerable point when you didn't have the wherewithal to pretend to be anyone other than yourself!!! Heartwarming and heart healing!!! ❤
Acotar was the book that really got me back to reading in 2024 ❤ the shepherd king duology is really good and I loved welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop 📖✨️ always a pleasure hearing you talk about books Morgan 📚💌
Thank you Morgan for your first video of 2025! ☺ I recommend cozy fantasy, I think you might like it ("Legend and latte" and "The spellshop" for example). 🧚♂ I wish you a very happy new year as well as Landon and Roo! ❄
We are also excited about you talking about books! I was wondering if you sometimes go around Little Free Libraries in your neighborhood? Good to see tou back after a great vlogmas ❤😊
I LOVED Winter Solstice. I read it in early December and it was my most favorite read from 2024. I will definitely read it every Winter now. I loved all her cozy descriptions of everything. It made me feel even cozier every time I picked it up. 🥰
Ohhh yay to a new video! Missed them so much! Two weeks or so now feels painfully long after catching up with you every single day haha! Happy New Year Morgan! ☺️🎉
Hello Morgan friend! Thank you and Landon for the recommendation of reading "A Psalm For The Wild Built" as I really loved it. I immediately read the sequel "A Prayer For The Crown Shy" afterwards and it was just as wonderful as the first book. You will love it.
Thank you for a satisfyingly cozy chat about books. I found One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillis to be quite entertaining and enjoyable.
I read both One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns in 2024, and both were some of my favorite books I've ever read! I've been trying to find books that are just as good and I can't find anything as stellar as that duology was. Eagerly awaiting her next book coming in May 2025.
Hi Morgan! You should also read Rosamunde Pilcher’s “coming home” and “shell seekers”. She used to be my favourite author, she made me love reading back in the nineties , exactly as you described ❤❤❤
Tb to last years video, gone so quicky! Hibernation is my everything rn so this was needed ! You were missed after every day seeing you! hope you had a great Xmas and well done again for Vlogmas !!xx You really articulated them so philosophically well b x Sending love xx
I felt skeptical about reading Acotar because it was so popular but after reading the first book and getting to the second I was completely sucked in. And I agree, at this moment my favorite in the series is A Court of Silver Flames. I am looking forward to the next book.
It feels like an irony that I get Korean book suggestions from American 😂 I'm from South Korea, by the way. Your description of Welcome to 휴남동 library really intrigued me!! Lucky that I know Korean so I can read its original version. Thanks for your kind book recommendation. Love from South Korea ❤
I read Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher right at the end of 2024 and it was so lovely. I have now started September by her. I loved how Winter Solstice looked at characters who were all finding rest in different ways. It reminded me how much we all need rest, both of body and soul, but especially after grief or hard things. ☕❄️ Also highly recommend the audiobook!
Happy new year lovely! I have read two books already in the new year! You must read kristen Hanna's "the women". Don't be scared od the Vietnam aspect because it is outstanding!!
Started listening to ‘Here one moment’. Really interesting listening. I am going to try and read all Jane Austen for the 250th birth anniversary this year. Plus Bath (UK) will probably be having extra celebrations 🎉
Happy new year! 💜 I’m intending to read less books this year. Being so fixated on reading a goal number of books took away some of the enjoyment for me. I’m looking forward to savoring and taking time to reflect and really sink into the worlds of the different books I read.
I loved hearing your favorites as well as current reads! I just finished a book I think you may enjoy it’s called The Rainfall Market by You Yeong-Gwang and it was delightful!
My favorite last year was Piranesi. That book changed the way I look at live. I hope I find something this year that can come close I might give "We all want impossible things" a try
I highly recommend you read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Mass! I personally think you will love it, your mention of loving misfits who find their people works well with this series. See how you go ✨ (I personally read it chronologically so starting with Assassin’s Blade, but you can have a bit of research to see how you might like to read it) xx
I have a few recs for you! Bloomsbury Girls. “One bookshop. Fifty one rules. Three women who break them all.” Set in London right after WWII. I think you’ll love it. Also, The Ward Witch and its sequel, The Book Keeper by Sarah Painter.

Oh Morgan 🧡 I’ve missed you. (Technically not missed you, because during this time I started and finished all of your 2023 videos. I’m now on your 2022 videos. 🙈🌻💕💐) I also happened to read 30 books last year. I just wondered what is your Goodreads account and searched your name on there. And I found one (assuming it’s you 😅) so I started to follow you there. I hope you feel okay with that. 🌻🤗🐣

This is just what I needed to end my Friday. Adding some of these to my wish list 😊

My favorite girl talking about books! 😍
Happy new year! Yaaay, been so sad since Vlogmas ended, have watched the Patreon video a few times 🖤
perfect timing!!
Had my blackberry apple cider tea while watching and folding laundry. Thank you for this book treat, and methodically sharing so well as you do!
My grandmother got me into Rosamunde Pilcher books and everyone I have read is so good I never want them to be over. Under Gemini is another good one!
Happy New Year Morgan ❤🎉😊
Chai Rooibos sounds delicious! I love Rooibos and I love Chai. So the combination should be lovely 😊
Acotar was the book that really got me back to reading in 2024 ❤ the shepherd king duology is really good and I loved welcome to the hyunam-dong bookshop 📖✨️ always a pleasure hearing you talk about books Morgan 📚💌

How did your and Landon's ceramics came out?
You recommended Winter Solstice and I thoroughly enjoyed it ❤
I will probably get teary-eyed everytime I hear your closing song now 🥹❤️
Love book talk so much! 🎊🎉🎆🎆🎆🎉🎊🎊🎆🎆🎆🎉🎇🎉🎆🎆🎆🎉🎇🎇🎇🎉🎆🎆🎉🎇🎇🎊🎆🎆🎆🎉🎊🎊🎇🎉🎆🎆🎆🎊🎇🎉🎆
Wrote down all these suggestions. I loved Once Upon a Wardrobe that you had recommended too. It's a new favorite!
If you loved ACOTAR, I think you’ll love Throne of Glass by sjm too! I loved it even more than acotar ❤
I just finished Once Upon A Wardrobe after you mentioned it in Vlogmas and I absolutely loved it! I want to read it all over again, it was so special.
Try Rosamund Pilcher's other books; they are all fabulous and heartwarming. Shellseekers is one of my favorites, but they are all incredibly good.

My favorite last year was Piranesi. That book changed the way I look at live.
I hope I find something this year that can come close
I might give "We all want impossible things" a try
Morgan!! The reason you love ACOTAR is the reason you will LOVE The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion. You have to try them.
it's 4am here in the Philippines when this goes live 😮 will definitely watch this 🥰😍
I highly recommend you read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Mass! I personally think you will love it, your mention of loving misfits who find their people works well with this series.
