I'll be doing a full video on whiteflies! In the meantime, check out my marigold video, where I discuss a study on using marigolds to protect plants from whiteflies.

Soap is the way to go IMO. I am using dr bronners liquid soap pepermint scent (1tbs to a liter of water) once a week and aphids are noware to be seen. I am growing kale and pac choi under nets in eastern australia. Without the soap treatment they would be covered in grey aphids.

Soap is definitely the way to go out of all the options! I used to use Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap myself, and it was super effective. Peppermint especially seems to help, and it kept aphids off my plants just as you’re experiencing. It’s amazing what a simple weekly soap treatment can do, especially for hardy greens like kale and pac choi. Sounds like your setup under nets is paying off nicely!
