how in the world did it only put out 133 horsepower the 4.0 straight 6 puts out 190 hp stock and something in the rage of 230-35 for the torque. My xj right now is putting out about 220 with my upgrades.
Josiah Asbury.... numbers at the wheels are alot less then at the crank. the 4.0ho is rated at 190hp but I have seen them make as little as 115hp at the wheels on a dyno.

i am getting an afe cold air intake and an afe silver bullet throttle body installed on my 2013 jeep as we type!.. would i require an ecu tune??? please help. cheers

I had an AFE on my Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel, worst mistake I ever made, I went through many of those so called million mile filters and even the pre filters, final straw when I couldn't tow my boat up the local grade, we had to turn around, I put the stock filter back on and now enjoy $12 filters and more power than with that POS afe

Removed the muffler on my TJ - the quack-a-lack converter is enough. Exhaust sounds great - not loud at all, just a sweet sounding rumble.

First Dyno was performed with a dirty stock air filter. That is not a fair test.
