This version of Walk On By by Jo Jo Zep is absolutely amazing! I have always loved this version FROM when it was released decades ago. It resonates with my soul and I find it ironic that I am going through this situation right now, decades later. xXx
Joe Camilleri Is Australia's finest singer.....very talented and highly underrated !!!!!!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Underrated in the way he sells millions in any incarnation he's taken over his career and that he's lauded in his home country as an extremely talented artist
Excellent opening track to their album Cha which is full of gems. The synths on this cover version really add a haunting beauty to the track. Joe's voice amazing of course. Top stuff.
Finally Finally I have found this video. I remembered it from Ready to Roll New Zealand when I was a teen and I have never been able to find it till now. So it was an Australian band that sang this song! Everything makes sense now. But the mystery of the video still remains. Is the little girl the soldier's child? Or is the child the man's singing the song? Why must the lovers part. What are they saying? If only I could lip read.
I love this song since it came out in 1983. Also the video tho it's a bit of a mystery what going on. I wish the soldier was a private not an officer. I could relate to a private, never an officer. It's hard to feel sorry for an officer.
K190 was green during its 1979 restoration and stayed green until 1993 when it did a tour with K153 and K183 when it was painted black only to be painted green again in 2000 but was changed to black in 2001 with a red stripe along the sideplate and buffers and it stayed black for 15 years until its red paint in 2016. it would have been nice if K153 K183 and K190 (K163 possibly), were all painted black for the 100 years of the K class celebration but maybe in 2040 when they're actually 100 years old
2024 and I still listen to this awesome song. Very underrated
Amen buddy 👍

Does anyone know where this was shot?I’m thinking Newton SYD or Newport MLB.
South Melbourne Railways Station.
It was filmed in Newport railway workshops
