The hands/indicies colour mismatch is quite visible and kills the monochrome aestethic for me

Do you feel Militado is Baltany's micro-micro-brand? It looks like so to me.

Militado is owned by Jassy Hu, the former owner of Watchdives. Baltany have a different owner, and are not connected to Militado. Some of their watches look similar as they are using the same factories to produce their watches. Regards, #WR4K
