In South Carolina a common drink is Dickel with a pickle or more specifically a shot of George Dickel regular or Tabasco flavored with a Chaser of pickle juice
Up here in Minnesota we just did Jameson and pickle juice, called it a pickle back. Really kinda bastardized it compared to the Dickel and pickle, which sounds way better.

This stuff is totally worth experiencing if you’re into trying spirits straight. If not, it might make a decent variation on a Bloody Mary. I don’t recommend buying an entire bottle though unless you keep a bar stocked with oddities
