The Renault 5 is a different car to the one you saw at Carlo's garage. This one has a front engine, so the vents are pointless. This is just a tuned version of the original street car. Carlo's one is a special homologation taken from rallies, with rear engine.
Spot on, this is the 120 hp ff version.
The other one is the mr Turbo 2, it would have breathing problems without wents :)
Its those famous Dimma Design "wide body" kit well known for 90's french hot hatch.
They collab with the french rally team Peugeot back in the days !
Definitely looks like a standard R5 or possibly a turbo with a Dimma kit, the proper factory R5 Turbo 2s had vents there because of the mid engined layout.
also is it me or are them wheels on the r5 custom deep dish 1.9 Peugeot 205 gti wheels
Mark, I believe you’re right, from memory Dimma built the wheels based on the 205 wheels, they had a very similar kit for the 205 Gti and even the 309 Gti used those wheels on them. They are lovely wheels and this little R5 looks great

The Recaros in that Golf w the turbo fans are old school...I remember those were super expensive back in the day...you saw those in Gemballas and Stroseks, and AMGs...those were no joke. Nice touch.....nothing like Recaros....especially old school Recaros...

9:00 All the parts on the Porsche 993 are OEM factory parts. The bolt on flares, 3 piece wheels, rally mirrors, big wang, are all from the GT2 & GT2 Evo. Porsche rules like that.

Is that R5 actually a Dimma kit? Looks very inspired by if not. I guess the wheels are image splits. Not my cup of tea but looks to be well executed.

The bmw 2002 turbo was only launched in 73' the Oldsmobile jet fire was the first production turbo car launched in 1962.
Regardless I am amazed by the extent of Khyzel's knowledge on not only cars in general but specific builds at the show. It's really an amazing time to be an enthusiast in all things automotive as the exposure in the industry is really growing and builders are much more open to sharing their passion. Excited to see what the future holds and to share the passion with the next generation because growing up all we had was hot wheels cars and granturismo lol

@8:50 It appears to be a normal 993 911 that was kitted to look like a 911 GT2. I don't see the GT badging beside the 911 on that trunk. That blue is a factory color too IIRC. Midnight Blue I think.

That's definitely a 993 GT2, not an RWB. Or its a regular 993 with the GT2 flares and wing, which is actually more likely
