Kevin Sullivan’s entrance robe is so cringey, he looks like when your dad would come down in the middle of the night and u have that awkward meeting in the kitchen with him
You know, we here in the Wrestling Bios fandom make jokes about Glacier, but he really does have a unique move set and would’ve made a great midcard act.
Bill & Ted: "69 Dudes!" Me: "Nice." That being said, I enjoy your jokes and commentary. The format change will not be a detriment for me. Thanks for what you do.
Raw is starting to make it competitive. Give it 3 more months and stuff will really start to heat up. Raw gets markedly better as 97 progresses and gets good in the summer of 97
@@derjude5758 I think it doesn't take 3 more months, I think.. Should happen in February or March. Mostly because of Bret Hart, though. After Mania, the rest of the roster turns it up a notch.
@K It's been the same for me. I've tried to watch a few times since the Stone Cold and Rock days. The roster was full of stars back then. CM Punk was okay imo. A few others could've been big names but they're just held back so much.
All 3 were the reason why WCW died, they had creative control and million pound contracts. Heck even when WWF bought them out they was under contract for wcw and didn't even have to show up to get paid and most didn't until it was time for their contracts to run out
Still my favorite wrestling review ever. But I already miss the segment breakdown and point system! But I'm still not missing an entire episode of this channel every thing is gold. Thank you!
I hope I speak for most of us, we don't watch your videos to see who gets the most points we watch cause you put out great content and videos. Keep up the great work. Thank you wrestling bios.
This must’ve been the start of DDP getting more and more creative with the Diamond Cutter, half the fun of watching his matches in the late ‘90s was seeing all the different ways he’d surprise his opponents with it.
97 is going to be awesome been watching a lot of 97 footage recently it's crazy how much Austin's popularity grows in just a few months, 97 Austin is my fav.
You're always delivering, brother. I think you made the right decision when you switched it up. This way you can spend a little more time on the relevant matches/promos/storylines. I look forward to your shows every week. Thanks for what you do.
This is my favorite series, I’ve been hooked since the 1st episode and they’ve only gotten better and better. The quality of all the content on this channel is consistently top notch. Best wrestling channel on RUclips in my opinion
The new show format works great! I'm glad you were able to find a more manageable way of continuing the series, it's something I look forward to every week!
Speaking of brass knuckles you might be amused to find out the brass knuckles William Regal used during that whole run in the WWE were actually Vince McMahon's personal brass knuckles that had his name engraved into them
I could see that image of glacier pointing as a running gag on this channel. Like whenever there's a zoom in, we'd have Glacier tell us where to look lool
I know we all talk about Wrestling Bios dedication here, but good lord imagine having to stare at that picture of Roddy Piper to make the thumbnail. The guy looks like he's about to jump out of my screen and strangle me.
I'm impressed that you have managed to keep this going over a year with the amount of content you have to get through and put together. It's a surprise you aren't burnt out with being a once man editing crew. Just hope you don't put too much pressure on yourself as your content is fantastic.
I can't believe how he doesn't bring up how scott steiner has been looking more like big papa pump. He has been changing his image for a couple weeks now.
Loving the increased humor! I think the lad's comfortable around us now! 😂 @16:37 glad 2 finally hear Kevin Sullivan made fun of for his dizzy, yawn-inducing, mystic hoo doo promos!! I've been annoyed by them since the early 80s watching FCW as a lil 1.
Reliving The War episodes just get better and better every week! This one in particular was an absolute blast watching! There was so many hilarious parts in this episode, and I LOVE the new scoring system. Aswell as the brand new graphics! Wrestling Bios. You're amazing at what you're doing. Keep up this absolutely glorious work!
Love the show, absolutely look forward to it every week. However, I think you should reconsider the decision to remove the point system. While your old system will no longer work for the increased amount of content on both shows, the point system is part of what makes this show great. Losing it really does take something away from the show. I suggest breaking each show into five "blocks", which are then compared to one another. This allows you to keep the head-to-head point system in a more convenient format. You certainly won't have to cover every match in detail and there is some flexibility in the structure. For instance, for this episode, Raw could have been divided like this: Block 1: Vader vs. Austin and Funk vs. Vega Block 2: Sid promo and Owen/Davey Boy vs. Furnas/Lafon Block 3: Ahmed promo and Goldust vs. Crush Block 4: Michaels/Hart promo and HHH vs. Mero Block 5: Main Event: Undertaker/Ahmed vs. Faarooq/Mankind Nitro could have been divided like this: Block 1: Hogan promo and Dragon vs. Mendoza Block 2: Glacier vs. Kidman, Train vs. Parka, and the 4 Horsemen promo Block 3: Steiners vs. Harlem Heat, Enos vs. Malenko, and the DoD promo Block 4: DDP vs. Renegade, Wright vs. Calo, and Konnan vs. Benoit Block 5: Main Event: Mongo vs. Jarrett and the Piper/Hogan promo Obviously, the fifth and final block would always be reserved for main events and finishing promos, as a strong finish is definitely important. This means that each episode will have five points up for grabs, preserving the possibility of a tie and also limiting the amount of discussion time per match. This system would leave you free to concentrate on the matches/promos that actually mattered. The unimportant stuff (jobber matches, etc.) can just be mentioned once and then abandoned. Either way, the show is great and I look forward to the next episode.
Another great episode! Thanks so much for all you do. And it’s nice to see the pieces falling into place for the WWE. They’re still losing, but they’ve got Stone Cold, ‘Taker, and Mankind making moves. Can’t wait for the worm to finally turn.
@10YRWWEPPV No he doesn't. He joined in 98 after asking Arn a million times getting rejected till finally the 4 were back together: Flair, Melenko, Mongo, and Bensnot, with Anderson as manager. But Dean didn't replace Mongo.

Not true we also came here to hear about wrestling

Just watched that part and immediately came down to the comments to see if I was the only one lol
This series is literally better than any other tv show that comes out every week. So good!

Woman ends it with a heel to the eye.

Ahmed's roid rage rampage raw
The fact that Furnas and Lafon never held the Tag Titles is an absolute crime. My god they were SO GOOD!
They really should’ve taken the belts from Owen and Davey during this feud between the two. It just makes the most sense.
Shed a few tears when I heard no Davey Boy chin locks this week. 😢
I like the wedgie piledriver from mankind better
I've been taking back alley headlocks to compensate. It's just not the same.
I really forgot how rare it was to see hogan, Hall and Nash wrestle back then. They seemed to only wrestle 15-20 times a year.

That “Taking Care of Horseman Business”, should be on a t-shirt..
