And therefore, since blood is attached to life and the taking or giving of that life, symbolizes atonement for life. for the record you were coming off as a Muslim as rather hypocritical because the Muslims have a form of blood atonement too. It is called qurbani, it symbolizes the future sacrifice Jesus would perform on the cross for the sins of all people, and since Muslims practice said religiously once a year either they are fooling themselves or they're buying into the Christian faith but twisting its own narrative if you acknowledge the validity of qurbani, hen you acknowledge the validity of what you called paganism

Btw, the first definition in Oxford dictionary means the promised deliverer of the Jewish nation prophesied in the Hebrew Bible;
Jesus regarded by Christians as the Messiah of the Hebrew prophecies and the savior of humankind.
Those definitions don't sound good for the Muslims so they use the second definition to define what is a Messiah.

Imagine writing in the quran that Allah is the source of the torah (old testament) and the gospel (new testament). Muhammad was trying to win the Jews and the Christians into Islam. That was a fatal mistake by Muhammad.

Believe it or not, the reason the Muslims are told to recite the quran is because most the followers of Muhammad (during is time) are illiterates. They cannot read the quran so they were told to recite the quran instead. The problem is they don't understand the quran. They recite it without understanding what they are reciting. That tradition carried over to the modern times.
