Love seeing the boys spending time with their grandpa. Some of my fondest and greatest memories I had growing up were spending time with my grandpa in the cab of the tractor and combine!
I was 5 years old when I lost my last grandparent. Lucky my kids got to see theirs at am older age. So they have so many stories to tell that I didn't have. And my parents grandkids was their life.
The safety class for the boys is great and a good reminder for when you have been harvesting this long not to get careless yourself. Don’t you wish you had a storage problem every year?
Mr. Nat I like the way you and the boys thoroughly went over safety of the pto shafts. My uncle lost his hand due a pto shaft. When they grow up I can see them both working side by side with good Ole dad. They are very smart. GOOD JOB DAD!
Watching your videos and 2 things always stick out to me: the amount of house lots you farm around and it seems like every road is paved. Was surprised to see a gravel road today. Also by law the electric company has height minimums their lines have to be above the ground here. I assumed that was everywhere else too. Guess not. Glad you're all safe.
As many have stated already, you cannot preach safely enough for children and adults around PTO’s and open parts of rotating machinery. A very difficult video to watch was from the “Harmless Farmer” when Andy Detwiler’s family recounted the accident that caused the amputation of Andy’s arms. It appeared to be painful for the family to retell the story, but I am glad they had the courage to do so that others could possibly learn from it.
With corn at 6.50, wouldn’t it be more feasible to haul the corn to the elevator than all that work to put it in the bin? Your going to have to get 7.00 out of it to be equal to what you could get now. Good job on your videos, yours is the first I watch each day!
Awesome safety lessons, just to drive the point home i would make them sit thru some Harmless Farmer videos so they see dad isn't telling us all this stuff just be be mean this stuff is very dangerous if not treated with respect at all times, even when dad or grandpa aren't watching us like hawks.
Old School??? Thousands of farmers still fill grain bins with augers... You know that one guy from south Sask,,, the crazy one that farms over 40k acres... all he uses is augers!!!
Keep pushing... Get it done... A win is a win. BUT...The score board at the end of the first half was incorrect. It showed no Time Outs for OSU. There was one left. Homered !
It seems you may have to find solutions that are missing in the current operation to address the choke points. Or you need to manage your expectations given the current group dynamic. Change has to work for everyone. We can always blame it on Let's Party Brock?

Use rain x on the glass it sheds dust
I see your son wanting to learn now and in a few years he will be driving the grain cart by his self . They grow up quickly .
You had a great day for all you did. Your labor force is thin. You will get it done
Sunday morning BVF = awesome start to day!!
Good morning from Siesta Key Florida

Almost every field has at least 1 house lot. All the roads in Ohio are paved but we do farm on a lot of dirt roads in Michigan
Damn, that's a clean 4020
Great video good to see y'all
Awesome safety session with your boy! Kudos! When it comes to equipment with moving parts, you can't be safe enough! Question, is this record Harvest?
good safty lesson, Andy Detter lost his arms in an auger when he was little.
You should park the truck and transfer corn with the grain cart
Man I was expecting some sparty jabs. Go blue!!!!
A bummer that logistics of all things is such a hurdle right now for you. Good luck with your plan for next week.

every day is great when you are able to get out of bed
How many Grain Bin do you have on your farm? how many Bushel does your Grain Bin hold?

Do you guys buy (cash/loans) or lease farm equipment?
We've never leased anything

Going to be a disappointing morning when I eat breakfast and there is no video to watch!!!
Just curious, How much is that electric pole going to cost you?
Didn't break a pole
@@BorderViewFarms Good, have heard that could be very costly.
Wires need to be a minimum height from ground. They probably are to blame.
You shouldn't have confessed about the wire should have just said it was hanging too low! Did they say there going to bill you?
What confession? I just said we drove under it and then it was too low. Didn't actually talk to the crew the fixed it.
@@BorderViewFarms You said dad wanted to Unload on the go..🤔. I doubt they'll investigate.
First. Lmao
