  • The 1988 FIM Sidecar World Championship featured an epic season long battle between reigning World Champions Steve Webster and Tony Hewitt (LCR-Yamaha) and Rolf Biland and Kurt Waltisberg (LCR-Krauser), and it was the former crew who came out on top at the British Grand Prix.

    80s is absolutely the beautiful year of Motorsports.
    Formula One: V6 turbo but reaches more than 1,000HP
    Sports Cars: Group C with Ground Effects, drivers is moaning inside the cockpit because of brutal force by the steering wheel.
    Also this Side car race: fearless riders.

    Miss the sidecar races a lot.
    After 500cc race the final event at Dutch TT at Assen, don't remember if this was the case at other GP's, but i do hope one day it will return in MotoGP weekends ❤
