  • SPECIAL THANKS TO RALPH CELENTANO!
A super rare and delightfully charming one-reel pictorial piece regarding the training of various members of the animal kingdom. Narrated by singer-songwriter and radio personality Frank Crumit.

Many thanks for the share, Geno and Ralph. This is very entertaining and informative. I may well show it to my grandchildren. These non-comedy short subjects are so often "missing in action," so it's wonderful to see this one.

So, let's see... With the field's greatest writers, directors and actors at their beck and call, the executives
at Paramount instead chose to pander to people's short attention spans and greenlit yet another "reality"
production focused on cute kitties and other soft & fuzzy animals being caught doing cute & silly things.
They also toe a "progressive" PC line, hitting us over the head with lessons about how "animals are just
as smart as people" and should be treated as such -- and of course they have to toss in a not-so-subtle
Virtue Signaling screed railing against Big Tobacco, indicating that smoking cigarettes is "for the birds".
Boy, things sure were *different* back then!!!
