Bro, im 180 lbs just bought a cc100x to get around in a pinch while my cars in the shop😂. Bent the screw back, filled up with 91 and topped off the oil...Im hitting 40 easy, but I dont just keep it opened up. Short bursts and kinda cruise it.
Great video buddy. I have a question, when you get to max rpm do you feel the engine vibrating through out the bike? When I max mine out or get close to max speed I feel a fine vibration through out the bike and its not tire vibration its engine vibration. Again thank you for the video and take care.

My ct200u only does 25 I got the performance parts a pipe upgraded air filter and upgraded carb but I still have the governor if I remove it this thing will probably hit 50

I got one also for my db-17 and I'm having a bad time trying to tune it. can you please let me know how many turns you have your fuel screw out. also did you have any problems with it bogging down right before you tuned it up. Please let me know because im trying to fix up this bike for my friend and im really trynna get it ridable for him especially it being his first bike. maybe, is it the bike that sounds like it's bogging down or does the engine seem like it's fine but you're not going anywhere? I still feel like it's the carb or maybe your fuel line is clogged so not enough gas is getting through.
@@Bataha yeah but even then unless ur a 80lb 10y/o. It won't rev too high I had a header and a pz19 carb on the one i had awhile back and it never got above 4.9k and i wheigh 170ish We're big kids we need the bigger motors lmao

I don't feel vibration. Maybe your enigne bolts are loose

Yes indeed. Running it wide open too often and the connecting rod will snap an can punch a hole through the crank case.
I run not governor on all my bikes, havent had a enigne blow up yet

Mine is 3 turns out and that is with the stock exhaust and a uni air filter.

If you can take a drill and drill out the tac on the governor screw and back it out you won't need extra springs.
You don’t really need extra springs either way but it just helps close the throttle all the way and it snaps closed after you release.

Depends how much the stuff weighs. I’m sure you could pull a couple hundred pounds but it would wear out your clutch.

At that speed its more about aerodynamics then weight, simply bend down and lean forwards and you can increase your speed imensly
