I am not good at all with Math or rotational series so i was just wondering... I am also taking the 30/8 min exam....would it be better just to skip the math questions and answer the ones for sure you know? At the end does it let you go back to your math questions again, when you are done answering the easy ones ?

I watched this video yesterday and finally had the courage to retake my test. It was my 3rd try, I needed a 20 to pass and got 19 on both previous tests. I was about to give up and change my course to something that required less for the passing score because I was giving it my all and it wasn’t working. BUT THEN, I watch this video and realized I was doing well, there are just a few tricks that kept throwing me off. I am so so so relieved that I was able to pass! Thank you for this very informative video! I hope other may find it as helpful as I did!

Question #6 the answer should be 24 because Initially the box was 9 years old and his sister was therefore 18 years old, which happens to be twice the boy's age. However at the end the boy is 15 which means he has aged 6 years. Therefore the sister must have aged 6 years, so 18 + 6 = she is now 24 years old. Also, in Question #10 the correct answer is givn ( last letter "s", however the slide gives the word uses YEARS initially but when forming a sentence it adds in the word "year" which ws never given initially. They had to do that in order to make a sensible sentence.
    Overall, good examples however.

I’d never heard of the Wonderlic test before Wednesday and I only had until Friday to take it. So I watched this video a few times, as well as others from another channel. Finally, on Thursday, I decided to purchase a membership on your website so I study and practice before my deadline on Friday. I had the 30 question, 8 minute version. I got a call this morning from the school I’ll be attending. First of all THANK YOU. I got 29 out of 30 correct. According to the admissions director, this was the highest score they’ve seen in a long time. Your tips really helped me out having to take a test under this much pressure. I’m taking my TEAS in March, so I’m keeping my membership at least through that time. Great work. And thank you so much.

I got a 55 sub score. I kind of wish that you all would go into more detail for the science sections like you do the others. But I rocked every section except science. I 100% recommend. You just have to study science on your own but everything else is great practice. Same style questions and all.

Maybe I'll end up going to a private one in Reno, NV.

Just a comment on the wonderlic test itself, it should be for fresh graduates of age younger than 30. I have been working for more than 20 years and now for a change job a company asked me to take wonderlic. I am certain that most young people will do much better than those who are directors/Sr managers and are older.

    Q5: 40/100 reduced to 4/10
    If 4 × 25 = 100
    Then
    25 × 10 = 250 (40% of 250 = 100)
Could be done for any percentage.
    50/100 reduced to 5/10
    If 5 × 20 = 100
    Then
    20 × 10 = 200 (50% of 200 = 100)
    Etc etc...

  • @JacobCain86

Question 9. SLE example gave you 6 words... you made a sentence with 7 words. Be sure to be careful about your word placement... this example still gave the right answer but accidentally adding a word that isn't there could dramatically alter the structure of a sentence and possibly harbor the wrong last word/letter.

for number 8 its easier to just multiply 4 x 3 = 12, then times 25. also, they had a couple of questions telling to add the same word to the following 5 words to make 5 different words. there really isn't a trick to these. and this what I spent the most time on. either the answer pops into your head or it doesn't. see, many of these are actually just trick questions. questions intended to fool you with misapplied logic. what's a test like that supposed to prove?

  • @rams8121
    @rams8121 3 года назад +1

Is the practice test on your site 'look' the same as the actual Wonderlic test? I'm wondering if you can skip some (difficult) questions and quickly go back to them without hitting the "back" or "previous" button 21 times? Are the questions individually accessible immediately without losing much time?

    • @nursehub
