Question #6 the answer should be 24 because Initially the box was 9 years old and his sister was therefore 18 years old, which happens to be twice the boy's age. However at the end the boy is 15 which means he has aged 6 years. Therefore the sister must have aged 6 years, so 18 + 6 = she is now 24 years old. Also, in Question #10 the correct answer is givn ( last letter "s", however the slide gives the word uses YEARS initially but when forming a sentence it adds in the word "year" which ws never given initially. They had to do that in order to make a sensible sentence. Overall, good examples however.
It's the age interval between them that you should consider. Twice as old when the boy is now 15 how old is the sister? Add the age interval with the boys current age you get your answer

Question 9. SLE example gave you 6 words... you made a sentence with 7 words. Be sure to be careful about your word placement... this example still gave the right answer but accidentally adding a word that isn't there could dramatically alter the structure of a sentence and possibly harbor the wrong last word/letter.

Is there a longer version of this text? I have to take it for the practical nursing entrance exam. My scores have to be 297 in reading, 297 in language and 288 in math.
Hi Dorsheia! It sounds like you actually have to take a test known as the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test (WBST), which is also sometimes referred to as the GAIN. Does that sound familiar?
for number 8 its easier to just multiply 4 x 3 = 12, then times 25. also, they had a couple of questions telling to add the same word to the following 5 words to make 5 different words. there really isn't a trick to these. and this what I spent the most time on. either the answer pops into your head or it doesn't. see, many of these are actually just trick questions. questions intended to fool you with misapplied logic. what's a test like that supposed to prove?
Is the practice test on your site 'look' the same as the actual Wonderlic test? I'm wondering if you can skip some (difficult) questions and quickly go back to them without hitting the "back" or "previous" button 21 times? Are the questions individually accessible immediately without losing much time?

If 5 × 20 = 100
Then
20 × 10 = 200 (50% of 200 = 100)
Etc etc...
🤣
I'm taking the test Monday, I watched this video twice and took the practice test. Didn't do so well. Any tips???
The railroad offers this test to enter the Apprentice program. I have been unsuccessful this far. Hopefully, this upcoming Spring, I'll have a different result- fingers crossed
Great video, thank you!
Question 6: Answer should be 24
Hi I will have a test tomorrow for medical laboratory I have to stay with the video
Are these the exact questions that are on the actual Wonderlic test?
At 19:40, you did list the word "year" in the question this can not rearrange the sentence to "Leap YEAR occurs every four years"
Has anyone tried skipping all of the math questions and doing the others? I wanted to try that. Or would you recommend just guessing?
THANK YOU
Thanks that was very much helpful n i feel more confident into passibg it cause i wasn't prepared for it and didn't pass it twice but i got it now and thanks to you. I love it.
I'm about to purchase this online wonderlic sle course. Lets see if it works. I'll be back to write a review on my result.
Hi there! Thanks for purchasing our online course! How did you do?!
Did you pass after purchasing the course?
I'm confused by the chasten/chastise example at 5:22. Those 2 words do have similar meanings.
Yes so far im learning a lot but only to find out is to take the exam
On question 9 you added the word "year" to your sentence but it isn't present from the list of available words.
Yep two years. Which I couldn't figure out how to form a sentence without the other year.
Thank God I read the comments #6 it's 24
Question 9. SLE example gave you 6 words... you made a sentence with 7 words. Be sure to be careful about your word placement... this example still gave the right answer but accidentally adding a word that isn't there could dramatically alter the structure of a sentence and possibly harbor the wrong last word/letter.
Hi. Where's the updated video??
15+9=24 on my calculator.
Answer #6 is wrong? Should be 24?
@nursehub hello so I'm new here
I'm trying to get into the nursing program but I have to score 22 or higher on the SLE to get in and it's 30 questions and 8 minutes
I don't know where to start please help.
Just an FYI. Question 6 the answer should be 24. 15 + 9 =24. You have 26 as the answer.
how 15+9 is 26 i'm confuse... what part I missed please explain
Why does the test change every time students takes it ? How often does it change
Thank you Thank you Thank youuu!!!
I'm so happy you found my video helpful! Are you taking the SLE soon?
In Q no 6, 15+9 should be 24 so the sister's age is 24, not 26.
in Questions 6 the correct is 24 years old
Thank you
You added two extra words that do not appear in Question 9?
This video helping
Is there a longer version of this text? I have to take it for the practical nursing entrance exam. My scores have to be 297 in reading, 297 in language and 288 in math.
Hi Dorsheia! It sounds like you actually have to take a test known as the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test (WBST), which is also sometimes referred to as the GAIN. Does that sound familiar?
Not just a pretty face.. Thank you!!!! Helped a lot
for number 8 its easier to just multiply 4 x 3 = 12, then times 25. also, they had a couple of questions telling to add the same word to the following 5 words to make 5 different words. there really isn't a trick to these. and this what I spent the most time on. either the answer pops into your head or it doesn't. see, many of these are actually just trick questions. questions intended to fool you with misapplied logic. what's a test like that supposed to prove?
Is the practice test on your site 'look' the same as the actual Wonderlic test? I'm wondering if you can skip some (difficult) questions and quickly go back to them without hitting the "back" or "previous" button 21 times? Are the questions individually accessible immediately without losing much time?
It is no longer very easy to navigate on the computerized exams - you must go back and forth one question at a time.
im literally terrible at math is there anyway in the math is there a way i can do process of elimination
The answer of question 6 is incorrect, the answer shoud be 24 because 15+9 is=24 and not 26
I just purchased my package let's see what happens, I'm slow with tests.
What happened?
@@Beachlife1029 well I freaking passed!
Question 3 is quite time consuming without a calculator. I am wondering if just guessing maths questions like this is the way to go?
My and my homie tripping out on #6
Hi sir, can you help i schedule already to take the test. so i can be able to pass it
How come I can't use the coupon code?
I’m trying to get into the dental hygiene program at PIMA Medical Institute and I’m dreading taking the Wonderlic. I know it is the SLE Wonderlic test that I will be taking. So this should be similar to it right?
Hi Veronica! Yes, this is what you need :)
I have to take the same test for the same Institute for the same program. So I want to know if this worked for you? Did you end up using this program to prepare for the Wonderlic Test? If so, did it help? What was your score?
Hi Veronica! Yes, this works for PIMA and we have actually had quite a few customers go there. We have some supplemental materials specifically for the PIMA version of the exam so please email me at info@nursehub.com for those :)
@@dannielibby3834 Hi Dannie! I know you weren't looking for a response from us, specifically. However, if you do decide to try our course please let me know and I will give you the PIMA supplements I mentioned in my reply to Veronica.
Dannie Libby I was 2 questions away .. I needed a 22 😒 ... I haven’t went back .. I’ll be going back in feb or March to test again .. tip is just to answer as many as possible if you don’t know the answer just guess what you think is right
On number 9, you added another year into the sentence that was not apart of the given list.. why was this done?
