It is certainly a cute little set. Those who pre-ordered it certainly had to wait a while to receive it. I’m not sure what your experience has been, but I think this set could have gone through a few more product tests before being released, just because I find the fish can get stuck at certain points when turning the crank and the clear pieces for the fish detach off the mechanism system quite easily. Looks great on display though.

I got that set, the only bricklink 'ideas' set i've been able to get, its pretty cool, thinking about adding z few leds to make it look like an aquarium. wanted castle in the forrest, but it didn't happen, was so disappointed. I chose the build with the ship and the kraken...maybe I'll change it out...

another comment, I sort of agree on the price, it isn't large, but you are paying or the configurability, people who are aquarists in particular, really get a kick out of it, and it is very creative and has a cool action/play feature, in fact you can create custom backdrops that match your own real aquarium by putting different parts of the sub-builds together, I was disappointed in its overall size, but for these reasons accepted the price, looks nice o display with the creator aquarium that came out too!
