This is probably my favorite music mix in the whole internet. Photographer really has left a sign in the deep of my heart, thanks to him I've discovered the most underground and uplifting side of trance back in 2013, and fallen in love with it. To this day, I cannot listen to one of his tunes and not get emotional. Every time I hear his kick, his bassline, his driving melodies, I get chills down the spine, no other trance producer actually makes me feel that way. I hope he will be back one day.
It was love at first listen for me and epic trance when I first heard and danced to it in Tokyo in the late 20th-early 21st century! Then came the sad decade or so when epic seemed to have become a lost art, except for Ferry Corsten. It’s been sooooo great to discover Photographer and still be dancing to 10 minute pure epic breakdowns☺️There isn’t a single downer on this entire compilation, and what Photographer does with Ian Van Dahl’s “Castles in the Sky” is a true masterpiece of bringing a trance classic right up into 2018! As with so many of his mixes, including the extended mix of his own genre-creating “Airport”, his carrying the synth breakdowns shimmering in and out of up to ten full measures in “Castles in the Sky” sends me into a beautiful zone every time I listen, which lately is every night as I sleep! Keep trancing Photographer! And thank you to the creator of this 3 hour + video and the amazing photos of God’s wonderful world! The scenery fits perfectly with the music! Great work all around on what has become my “go-to” video on RUclips!
Billy Gillies - Daytona (Photographer remix)!!! ahh when i was getting into uplifting like in 2013, just before first time i saw Tyas. He used to play this in sets. Great track!
Looooooooooooove Rise!!! Also mirin u used the DUB masterrace mix (vocals suck on this lol). tbh, Rise shud have been much later in the mix, not really one i'd start with here, just cos of its peaktime energy when u had 2 (Time Code) and 3 (Snow Leopard) as better warmup-y openers.
On 2nd listen now. First listen was just around Aug 2015 (when Dima was supposed to perform here, but same bloody fkin visa issues again prevented him from making it ughhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!. still fkin salty at no return date -_-). Great mix btw! Also loving the artwork rotating wallpapers. how to do that?!?!?! And are these your taken photos (inb4 canadian Photographer ova hurr) :P
For the photos. These are all nature picture packs I have downloaded over the years. I only use my photos for the mixcloud uploads. As for the video editing, Sony Vegas is a cool tool to know how to use ;)
7. Legion. Hmm sort of that classic Anjunabeats/PvD/Super8 driving sound there, diggin' it!. Altho I feel the melodies in the loopy drive sections of the track sound very off key or tempo's really off. Did u u manipulate that with effects, or is track generally like that?
whats going on with the low end of this mix?? its headwork!! sounds like hes mixing with the fader half open on the other channel or something. shame cos the tunes are incredible !!!

The track is like that. I never add any FXs on top of my mixes, just EQ
