Hi, I am using QualCoder for my thesis and it works really well! My problem though is: how do I quote my interviews later in my text? I tried adding line numbers or paragraph numbers to my text in word but they are not being imported. My only way around right now is making adding paragraph numbers and save as a pdf. That does not work with line numbers and it is an extra step along the way. How do you do that? Thank you in advance!
Hello, sorry for the late response. Are you wondering how to format an in-text citation of an interview with no page numbers in your thesis? If so, it will depend a little on what citation style you are using. APA style says if you don't have a page number, you can include something else like a paragraph number, a section name or number, etc. This page has some examples: apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations/quotations/no-page-numbers. If using paragraph or line numbers, you don't have to physically add them in the interview text. You can just expect readers to count them by themselves.
