That is good!! I think those AA batteries in the display will last for weeks if not months. Checked bunnings - they have different units but the one that matches fairly closely is the Holman Zephyr Wi-Fi Weather Station at $199.
So before you fill your station name and password in you first set up an account with the Weather underground and that will give you a station ID and password? The manual instructions are quite confusing ;it's not clear where the station ID comes from...
Yesterday I did register the station then set the station up (date, time, measurement parameters) manually from the panel. The indoor panel communicates really well with the outdoor station but the Weather Uderground site says that my station is offline so I cannot check anything over the internet when I'm not home.. That remains to be solved. Other than that everything works fine. The instructions in the manual should have been written differently; that would eliminate a ton of confusion... Many people got confused thinking that this station would work unless you are connected to the Internet via your router. It works really well without internet connection but you cannot check the parameters via the Internet but by only directly reading the indoor display...
@solarflare4259 I found that sometimes it disconnected due to me playing with my power system. I take the 240 V plug out of my indoor panel and then put it back in again. You may need to put your display closer to the outdoor station or the router.

149 delivery from Vevor in Inglewood NSW. Next to record it on home assistant. 50 KW power yesterday 💪.
Why is it so hard to hook this up to wifi. I still can’t get it to work. Already pissed off.
Try another device like a tablet. Some of the newer OS have some funny security stuff.

@solarflare4259 I think you registered, and then I added the station. My temperature sensor has started to play up. I need to check it.
