Metro is to replace those people with one person driving in a 7 seater car for comfort. Especially for these people Metro will be useful. BTW for Airport Kilambakkam Extention people will have same frequency after Tambaram also unlike Suburban.

@nagarajm5701 I gave one of the reason why ticket price of Chennai metro is higher because the cost of construction per km is highest in India on par with Delhi metro
