James n Ernie. Gotta love em.. If your sad, thayll put a smile on your face. Even if its through a video. I never really been to any of their live shows, but they are pretty convincing, just watching a 5 minute videos of them. I like them..
well I will tell You this. Its a Navajo burger no other name is worthy of this. Same holds true for the Navajo taco. As a Boy back in the early 70s my Father took me to visit his old Army buddy in New Mexico. I had my first Navajo taco and burger while there. Had never seen either before. My Father took us to many Reservations to see and meet Our People from Other Nations. Never once did i see these things. As a Choctaw I say Navajo Burger and Taco.
Can't find anything like that in CA unless the local Res has a Pow wow. No Blue Bird flour at all here in CA to make the correct frybread. Maybe the next time I do a "drop in" in Tucson, I can pick up a couple big sacks. Love that burger, but gotta agree with Brody Hill...ya need some Hatch Green Gold and some grilled onions to make things click, but the burger on this video is tasty looking too. Love it guys!
You guys have thinner fry bread than ours. Ours around here (upper mid west) is puffier. They do the same thing with hamburgers and taco meat, but yours looks more like a tortilla.
Do they deliver ??? I tip well💰. I bet it smells good in there. I love eating places that are not franchises, there is nothing compares to home cooking, and recipes that are handed down thru generations.. now thats good eating.....
The first time I ever had a Navajo burger was at the flea market in Window Rock. I was about 10 years old. I now have 5 kids and we have Navajo burgers at once every two weeks. We call that "poor people food".
its at the flee market and its best to go on saturdays bc thats when everything is open, its actually really good, i remember going there when i was probably 8 or so (im 20 now)
Lame conversation talk and it wasn't even frybread with the Navajo burger. Where was the Hatch green chile or even grilled green onions on the side. Too bad no cerveza to go with that mana from the gods.
Yeh, y’all making me hungry!
Navajo burgers 🍔 rock!
Im navajo and not too fluent in our Diné language but I interpreted "Cheii Yazhi" as " Baby Grandpa" hahahaha.
