Crosby and Malkin “not the players they once were”? That remains to be seen. They’re still averaging over a point per game as of last season. The problem was bottom 6 scoring, defense and goaltending last season.
@@thisisalongdrive1372 GTFO...he had nearly 40 points on a mediocre PP....He'll have 50+ this year with EK (if he plays a full season). He's not close to done.
The Erik Karlsson Trade was a decent deal that may improve their roster but I do agree they’ll have to rely on goaltending and most importantly: their depth. As it was their depth that was able to help get wins when Crosby, Malkin, or Letang were injured
pens offense is so much better....obviously EK makes a huge difference but Smith is underrated and the bottom 6 is better by leaps and bounds....expect 3.5 GPG minimum this year.
They have really improved the offense and defense however goaltending will be the issue they really could use an upgrade but we will see how it plays out so far the team looks really good especially on the blue line we have the top two defensemen and some very talented forwards
What’s exciting as a pens fan is 50 minutes a game you’ll have either Kris Letang or Erik Karlsson on the ice… good luck considering now you add in then offensive weapons this team has and if Jarrys an all star again they could go deep or even win #4
Don't disagree about the goalie but they signed Graves who is solid and getting Karlsson is basically a guaranteed boost to their 14th overall power play

Decent deal? They won every aspect of the trade
@@cjsgamertag7032in 3-4 years that deal won't look so good.
@@TheBillaro so when the team is already shit
@@TheBillaro I don’t understand what you are trying to say
@@cjsgamertag7032 you'll see. the moves look good short term but long term the pens r fked.

you should have traded for a top goalie and a good all around defenceman.
acciari will help your bottom 6.
Jarrys problem is health not ability. Dudes an all star when he’s healthy

They need a Ryan Reeves type player or they will be pushed around and injured.
oh,come on ,man,Reeves trade in 2017 was the beginning of downfall.
it's like they're trying to be da softest team in da league
I doubt they make the playoffs.
Goaltending gonna b tha key
