Hi Matty and team. I'm really liking the new format of the vlogs. That old brick looks absolutely stunning the different colours. If something doesn't feel right dont go ahead. Professional all the way. Another banger of a video by liverpool's finest.
Jacob has really stepped into his role now, great confidence and his work is top drawer, yourself and the lads have been excellent mentors to a young lad 👏👏👏👍
Sorry for my bad english but I wanted to congratulate you and tell you my admiration for the magnificent work you do despite the difficulties, the weather and the unexpected. Signed a French admiring from Lyon
I'm in the hard landscaping game myself and to see a man like yourself doing such a good job gives me faith that there's still some good men about working hard and doing a top quality job. There's a hell of lot of cow boys out there in are game giving us a bad reputation. It's a big thumbs up from me 👍
That re-used brick wall looks stunning. It looks like it was original to the house too. Lots of waste bricks by the look of it though. Great job again guys.
Woohoo, been waiting all week for the next episode. You guys are god tier level Pros! You need to start selling some merch, reckon you’d do really well. Much love.
I liked the video before watching it and I wasn’t disappointed I never thought I would be you lads are real grafters don’t let the hard days get you down I know it will be fabulous when it is all finished 😊
Hi matey and Co. Yeah defo don't put baby in the corner 😂 Your quite right, if it feels,/ looks wrong it often is, I always question certain designs if they don't seem right, another great video, I'm enjoying these episodes, ❤
Hello Matty, I love this new format, it makes it much more interesting. I have never watched you all and not been impressed by your workload and the energy you must use, my back, knees, ankles, elbows and shoulders ache just watching you all. It must be so disappointing for you when you have to take a step back and modify but like others have said, so worth it, you know your job. Lovely to see Bob popping up, he must love visiting site and be itching to get involved. Pies looked amazing! Best wishes Christine x (and mum, although she is two behind now)
That’s amazing to hear, thank you Christine! This job is a hard one but we’re pretty conditioned to the work we do. Yeshhh, Always a pleasure to see Bob Hope your both ok! X
I always look forward to your videos, you show up other's who to know what they are doing. The garden is starting to look boss it's got so much potential especially as it's a brickstone garden
Undoing and re-doing your own work is soul destroying, but you guys just power through; how many other contractors would have said F'it then packed it, bodged it and scarpered? Not Brockstone. Kudos guys. Hot brew, hot meat pie outside on a cold day, simple life with small pleasures; you can't beat it. I liked the Merseybeat segment, dare I ask? Bit more please. Six pack? Mine's more of a party seven, does that count? Cheers Matt.
I appreciate the comments my friend. I will still do a finished video so you’ll get both, winner winner! Would love to visit NYC, it’s my plan to come for my 50th in 2 years 👍🏼👍🏼
Ah, I too am pending Abs, many MANY times around the sun and counting/pending 😅. Excellent effort and transparent coverage of a very tough job. Keep going lads, it’ll be another gem to add to the archive soon enough. Superb.
Good call on stopping work to rectify the issue. You gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette. 🤜🏻🥚 Starting to look good now, especially with that wall! I'm not sure I've ever admired a wall before, but there you go.... 😅 Hope it goes smoother from now on.. 🤞
You’re right about gut feeling when you said insulation and concrete floor slab ,then I saw that drop off to the road behind my thoughts were maybe you’re going to dig pile holes to reinforce those back corners,a bad day is only one day tomorrow might seem back to the crap but there’s always a solution you got a great gang credit to you all 👏🏻👏🏻
Sometimes you have to conduct the show rather than star in it. Gives you time out to keep the business wheels moving. Stepping back, reflecting using gut instinct and caring to confront ends in a job of perfection. Once again experience leads the show! Dave Birmingham
Great work, that wall looks really nice and outstanding work for spotting the misunderstanding by the structural engineer on the garden room plans- that’s saved potential insurance claims and lawsuits in the future. Only a professional with your expertise and experience could have done that. 👏👏👏👍
@ You’re most welcome- I sensed you may have been feeling bad about the whole situation, but I didn’t want that to be the case. This is one of those situations where your unique experience and expertise adds untold thousands of pounds of unseen extra value in future problems avoided and I hope this makes the next conversation of this type feel easier.
Loving the new format, behind the scenes interesting sounds like we’ve got a lot to look forward to! The old adage measure twice cut once applies to all construction as proved by your gut feeling. Old brick looks lovely really compliments the rest of the garden. You are all doing a superb job.
great vid! i like the way you bring us personally in to ur days. i was wondering how u make ur designs for new clients/projects. it looks great how everything looked on paper! Cheers from Belgium!
I know we don't see everything, but Jacob seems to get it quite easy on site. Traditionally, the youngest lad on a site gets absolutely terrorised by the older lads. All sorts go on.😂 Being the gaffers son has privileges. He don't know how lucky he is. 😂
@@LEE_MASON_ we all have a laugh and have the banter but no one gets singled out, I wouldn’t have that on my job no matter who it was. Everyone is treated the same. They’re good lads and we respect each other the same 👍🏼
Love the channel boy's... And WOW your work is top class... You seem to have such a great team work.... Also love the music... What was the song it is mint thanks boy's
hi Matty , here is a thought to save the pain of the barrows uphill.................... have a quick look at hss mini dumper hire 1/4 a tonne..........hope it helps
Don’t worry I’ve used those and weighed up everything, if I can get one in then I’d use it, but as it’s uneven terrain and going through other people’s gardens it’s not even an option 👍🏼
Morning! Still loving the new format! No rest for the wicked! I didn’t realize the back of the yard dropped off to a road. Looks quite steep. Could we have a wee peek at that side of the property? You came across a gas line in a previous video (or it looked like one) I presume you have to get locates done prior to digging. CONTINUING- So I just saw the stop work bit with your concerns about the elevation, nice call btw. With the pad being so close to the edge wouldn’t some form of dug or driven pile aid in securing the pad? I know elevation is the issue. Lots of hard work well done. Fun fact, with all your rain and the odd sunny break, it can age you. Kevin’s really 28 and Craig needs some UV100 on those “breast of chicken white” calves. lol. Thanks boys. Really enjoyed it. Stay safe
Thank you! Good to hear. Yeah I can show you the bank from the bottom next week The structural engineer has designed a new slab it’s raft foundation, no piles on it. Thanks again
Ouch in the first degree it is really a downer to have to re do the work you have spent hours doing. But you and I know you did the correct thing. To many times you hear it's ok or it will be alright even I dont care it's not my house. By doing the right thing it makes the traders job who follows you easier.
When you recorded yourself in pick up is first time I think I've seen you stressed in any of your videos. Unfortunate you were in that position but you had made correct decision. Also, the statistics at end of video is stuff that unless you do this type of work you'd never understand what manual labour is.
Knit one pearl one drop one springs to mind on this job. Hope you don't have any more set backs. Must be a bit disheartening for your lads. All that hard work and then having to do it all again. No wonder you have budding Mr Universe contenders working with you. Wheelbarrowing all that rubbish out of the site then bringing other stuff in. I take my hat off to you guys. It would kill me. Great job lads keep it up.

Just grateful here in NYC for any of your content. Your old format was more dreamy and almost superhuman in execution ie: Yorkstone Driveway.
Jaw hanging open content vs. hyper realistic now. Both great, but don't underestimate that fantasy has value
