Thanks my dude. It’s an awesome rod for most applications. If I had to pick one rod line to fish for the rest of my life it would be the milliken line (or a boat full of shimano exprides if I win the lottery 😂)
Just fyi for setting the hook on chatter baits all you have to do is give it a slow set with turning ya waist. Checkout Bret Heights video on it.. but if you are looking at the pro's set hooks mostly all of them set the hook dramatically which truly is all theatrical.. I land all my fish by just reeling into them and light hook set & I fish from the bank as well. Good video
You’re totally right dude haha, I just set the hook like a buffoon. Love the man B Hite, he’s an incredible bladed jig fisherman and Ive learned a ton from him. Been slowly trying to dial my hookset back but god I just love whaling on em! I’ve also noticed with this specific rod I need to hit em a bit harder to stick them good, might have something to do with the moderate tip on it. But I would highly suggest 6th senses stuff, I’ve used a few of their hard baits here and there and they’re really well made with some great colors. Haven’t tried the GS rods yet so I can’t speak on them, but I think 6th senses selection of stuff is way more dialed in whereas the googans seem to have tried to cover the basics first to cater to the newer anglers in their audience. Makes sense for sure, the googans have always been about getting more people into the sport so i can see why they want to make things simple for newcomers, but if you want dialed equipment I’d pick 6th sense every time.
@@spicecantfish1321 I plan on grabbing a few crank baits from 6th sense but & the rod is tempting especially at the price point but I just don't like a 1yr warranty even tho I did get googan go to rod & I have caught nice size bass & pike on it using a jackhammer.. I really want to try a Dobyns rod there warranty is killer no one yet is even thinking about trying to come close to em in that department & it's a lot tourney fisherman using them as well.. keep making videos bro and catching big hoggs.
@@luckylucky9006 Dobyns rods are the juice from what I hear; I know both Ben Milliken and LakeForkGuy used to use those rods exclusively back in the day, and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Thank you my man will do!
I generally use 15 or 17 lb fluoro, depending on how thick the cover is I’m fishing or how deep. If it’s lighter vegetation or open water, or if I want to get a bit deeper or drag a jig, I use a half oz chatterbait with 15 lb. if it’s heavy grass and shallow water or if I’m doing some flipping, then I switch to 17.
I love my Zark rod for all the reasons you expressed in this video. Good review dude for people looking to find a rod for these techniques.

Love your knowledge of fishing bro! Good video

The Googan's just might be in trouble when it comes to rods. I looking into trying a Milliken rod & a few of 6th sense lures I have yet to buy any..
👍
Lol those some big Oscars in your fish tank 🐟 🐠
Thanks for the support my dude! And yeah they’re getting pretty large
What line do you use with this rod
