I loved this with all my heart. When we gathered this year we counted 4 generations as we watched our great grandkids play with toys their mom and cousins played with. I watched while family gathered around the piano and our oldest daughter played Rudolf and Frosty and the kids and grownups sang with gusto. Then came the carols and we sang in 3 part harmony. Our son opened the celebration with a prayer and the rest of the day unfolded magically. Yes, your home and your family set the tenor of who you are and what you want to have be remembered. God Bless us all as we head into the New Year.

Oh so many things! Loved loved everything! The food, the tables, the linens, the dogs, the beautiful greens everywhere, and your beautiful family, Anne... you're so lucky to have your Mom with you! Oh it was so fun to see one of my favorite decor books, Williamsburg Christmas, that I have also...to go there is on my Bucket list, I am almost 75 so don't know if that will be happening, still, it's a dream...then I wondered if you had made the garland hanging over your bar in the tavern, with the pinecones? Also, did you make the wreaths hanging in your windows with the ribbons? Love the fruit everywhere...I have a silver bowl (silver plate) that I like to fill with fresh apples in the fall and fresh tangerines for the Christmas season...so festive with greens also. I included a "clove" orange in a little gift bag I gave to a friend with a "prim" Santa kitchen towel, and she loved it! She said: oh! Something healthy to eat " 😂! Anyway, I think for my New Year's table I'll do up my silver bowl with a Pineapple and greens! So many ideas we can share...
