Another gem from Yulia. Where I work there is a lady named Yulia (she is fairly new there) and today I was at her desk helping her (I'm in IT) and I noticed the accent. I didn't ask her where she is from, but I think she was heavy on the Russian accent. :)
Highly recommend if you are coming to Canada to request copies of your medical files and pay to have the last 5-years translated into English or French (depending on where in Canada you are moving). Also get all copies of your perscriptions translated. You will need to see a doctor to get your perscriptions renewed and what you normally take may not be available and your doctor and pharmacist will need to work to find the appropriate meds for you.

I had no chance to import thus things...so we are forced to eat crap instead of healthy greens.... (you simply can't compare European organic standards with Canadian standards in food growing)

my pleasure! it depends on where you work after. if you're aiming for a big company, you might need a degree. if you're okay working for someone small, college should be good for you. but again, in IT people care about your skills rather than your education. hope that helped!
