Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful year of travel in 2024. We hope you enjoy the pros and cons of this lifestyle. All the referenced links in the video can be found in the description. Safe travels, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
I did it in reverse. In my 30s/40s, I worked in international marketing and traveled to 40 countries. I loved exploring new places, meeting people, and learning different cultures. In my 50s, I left that company, sold everything and traveled full-time, staying up to 3 months in each country. Three years ago, I started my own business and, now age 63, enjoy the convenience and familiarity of having a low-cost home base. There isn’t anywhere else I’d rather be and I’m finally enjoying the comfort of staying in one place!
That's wonderful. You've seen a lot and enjoy your time in one place. We may get there someday, just not yet. Thanks for sharing your story and following along with us. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
My partner and friends all got the travel bug early also so I also got going in my 20s and 30s. I now let John and Beth and my other favourite RUclips travellers, show me what I am missing. Who knows where life can take you 😊
I went overseas to watch 2 little dogs for free lodging on the outskirts of London. Paid my own airfare$$$. Within 2 days, I had fallen on their kitchen floor (required to take off my shoes and found the floor slippery) and had been biten by a dog with a hx of biting, which had been denied. The dog-sitting was a disaster, although I had done it successfully in the USA. Just a warning to others to not think this is so easy. I moved into a hotel and had more fun and then into an AirBNB, which had its own negatives (3rd floor! and very tiny room and inadequate hot water) but I had a good time in London--my first time there. I did pack lightly per your advice, and the 3rd place finally let me use the washer and dryer--which worked out.
Thanks for sharing your experiences and hope you have an amazing year of travel. Happy trails and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thanks. yes, I am not going to let this bad experience slow me down, but I want to warn others that it is important to have enough available on credit cards to handle such problems.@@RetirementTravelers
Great video! Definitely can relate to all of these issues. When I first started I planned everything out in advance, including making all the plane and lodging reservations, before I left on the trip. In an effort to be a little more spontaneous (which is difficult because I'm such a planner, lol), I now have a rough plan for the trip and make reservations only for about the first 2 months before I start the trip. The remainder of the trip I do my research on the areas I will visit and make reservations about 2 months out. That gives me a little flexibility to change my plans for the later parts of the trip. Of course, that means having to do the research and reservations while not interfering with enjoying the place you are already visiting. My rule is that I only do the travel planning on weekends. The reason for this is that weekends tend to be busier with more people off from work, meaning sites, museums, public spaces, etc. are going to be more crowded. Those are the kind of days you'd rather just stay in to do the planning and relax. I try to do the sightseeing during the week when it's less busy and less hectic. As for how you travel, I say to each their own. What works for you is what's best for you. Don't compare to others. We all have our various reasons for why we travel this way. You do you! With respect to visas, there can be a problem if you get them too early because they sometimes have a short period of validity once issued. I had that problem when I went to Laos. The validity period of the visa ran out a few days before when I was planning to leave. I could have paid to extend it but ended up just leaving when the visa expired. I'm with you about how long you think you will live this way. I can't see myself not living as a full-time traveler for the foreseeable future. So I plan to do it as long as I enjoy it and as long as I am able! Safe travels in 2024!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and following along on our journey. Much appreciated. Happy trails and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
No one has a right to judge your life, let alone your relationship with your family. Period. We are all different, and our relationship with our family is very personal.
It's already been FOUR YEARS?!?! Wow!😮 I'm so impressed by your energy... I'm exhausted when we are always on the go. But I love watching people like you having nonstop adventures 💖💖 Happy New Year! Dara
I LOVE your legacy plan for your grandchildren! What a wonderful thing to do. I too have much the same legacy plan for my family - showing the world to my offspring and opening their eyes and hearts to the great big world out there!
Thanks so much and it is a wonderful legacy plan. We have learned and experienced so much and we want to share that with them. Happy trails and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/

We are 68 & 72 & are opting to travel overseas for several months each year & have small condo as a home base in the US. We have gotten so much out of your videos. Trying out some Hyatt Hotels from our Chase Reserve points transfer this spring in Europe. We had not heard of this hack before we watched your videos. Thank you! Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time with your families!! 😁❤️🎄👍🏼
I really appreciate that you call it “our world”! Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone around the world called it that instead of “my” country, town, city, whatever. We could actually be at peace if we were united as in our world. Thanks for great content as always.
Wonderful video and yay, no music! Thanks for sharing so much! We are future flex-pats who plan to be traveling 5-6 months of the year and like you, we are thinking about a week in each city/town and using mostly hotels. Enjoy your upcoming Christmas cruise!
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. Best of luck with your flex-pat planning. Thanks for following along with us on our journey. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thanks for all your videos. We have only one grandchild who will be 21 in January and all of our immediate family live near us. So even though we would prefer to live near the ocean, we will continue to live in Kansas. We have a very close relationship with our granddaughter. We travel quite a bit but have a home. From the time our granddaughter was five years old until she was immersed in college a few years ago, we took her on an annual trip. Those memories are so special and she so appreciates them. It has given her the opportunity and love of travel.
Thanks and glad you are enjoying our videos. Love your story with your granddaughter. Thanks for sharing. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
I am glad you use motels, not Air B&B-type. In our current economy, too many people are desperate for those 'nightly' rentals to be monthy or for sale for single family housing!
Merry Christmas! We have been travelling full time for two and a half years now and can relate to your joys and challenges. We are currently in London and for the very first time we will be away from our kids and family for Christmas but we are returning to Canada in time for New Years and will connect with everyone then. Love your channel and wish you all the best:)

Thank you for this video! I really enjoyed listening to your thoughts and lessons from all the travels. You are living my dream, and I admire you two so much! I love how ENERGETIC and JOYFUL you two are. Happy holidays and wishing you two an amazing 2024!
John and Beth, your role model and You Tune channel of traveling is a blessing to me. My husband retires January 2024. In the last two years I have traveled to Asia on my own since he is an international pilot working an ever changing schedule. You certainly have to address fears and negativity. I am so excited to create a new lifestyle with world travel, art photography, technology and social media, with my husband of 35 years. My 30 year old daughter is a professional online vocal performer and it’s amazing how many people all over the world she reaches through an interactive Twitch channel and then travels to collaborate. When I create my new social media world in 2024 we can follow each other traveling the world. Here’s to living young at heart in retirement years.
Glad it was helpful and enjoy your travels and your home in 2024! Thanks for following along on our journey with us. Many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Great Video! The grandkids aspect is one that gives my wife pause but, like you, they're scattered and seeing them even while in the US is tough. I'm in likely my last year of working and we (or at least I) hope to set off in 2025.
Thank you for all the great information that you provide throughout the year. Your videos are inspirational and informative. Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year!
You are so welcome! Thanks so much for following along with us on this journey. Merry Christmas and many blessings for 2024. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Great video thanks so much for your advice. I retired to part-time in 2019 at 67, and that year spent 2 months in Europe. I caught the last plane out before you-know-what, and all my travel was domestic since then until a short trip to Aruba last year, and trips to Italy and Mexico this year. On my 2-week excursion to Italy I met someone on the train who was traveling full time and got some tips from him, and I've been watching your videos and dreaming about a full-time travel lifestyle for at least a few months if not a few years. In my case I have no grandchildren and nothing really tying me down except my home and stuff. I would likely be traveling solo although friends and family could join for a period of time at their discretion. Like you, I've met some great people on my travels and I don't think I would be lonely although that is a consideration. My immediate plan is to spend 3 months in Europe starting in August of 2024, and take it from there.
Thanks for watching and hope you have a wonderful trip to Europe this year. Don't forget the Balkans and Baltic States. Some great values and interesting places. Happy trails and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Great info! Prepping for brunch later..it is Christmas Day but had to catch up with your 'how to travel like a pro' vid! Happu Holidays to you and your family!
Happy holidays 🎉 we're in mid 50s, also trying to follow your steps, retire early and travel around the world 🌍 love ❤ your traveling styles and philosophies.
Thanks for all your good advice and sharing of your experiences. It is indeed a big and interesting world with plenty to see and experience I look forward to seeing your future travels. Enjoy this time back with family and have a Blessed Christmas time, peace and long retirement to you both. All the best for 2024.
The problem with using the credit card is that most countries want cash no cards . Also many scamming happening with credit cards skimming .. 😊 thank you guys for this video happy holidays from Koh Samui
Thanks for sharing. We have also found this true in Southeast Asia, but certainly not Europe. We've need to cash for the last 4 months. Can't wait to return to Thailand. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thanks for the great video and happy holidays! I love your idea of traveling with each of your grandkids! This is something that we would love to do when we start our nomadic journey. Blessings to you and your family!

Happy holidays to you and your family! A great video! My dad used to say, "Travel is the great teacher." YOu two are proof positive of that. I am itching to travel more! I lived in England and Italy for 3 months each in my 20s and wouldn't mind doing that again. Any advice for senior solo female travelers?
Thanks so much for following along with us. Our advice is just get out there and travel. We have met several senior solo female travelers during our journey. Happy trails and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Appreciate all your tips! I think my journey will be having a small place in France or Spain as a base to travel from (with a few long Asian trips once both my kids are out of college), but there seems to be a lot of overlap, which is helpful. Happy travels for 2024!
Thanks and following along and sounds like a great plan having a base in Europe. Safe travels and many blessings in 2024. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/

I love watching your videos - you are such a lovely, upbeat and supportive couple! My husband and I spent two years on the road a few years ago. Loved it! But ultimately it was too much on the go for us and we missed our “community”. Very grateful to have had the experience though and now we plan two month long trips a year. Different strokes :-))
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you are enjoying our channel. Enjoy your travels AND your community. Safe travels and many blessings, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thank you for giving us this vlog and all the info and insights... Your effort is greatly appreciated. Happy travelling and spending time with your family. 🙏👏❤
yes! great way to spend time with your family. Amazing the idea to travel with your grandkids, like one at time, such a special time...........I love it! I'm inspired......
Fabulous video! I have been to 40 countries which has been amazing but my health problems recently have kept me in the US so Im not sure how much more international travel I can do. Thanks for letting me see the world through your eyes! Merry Christmas with your family on the cruise ❤
Lots of great info. I would love to sell it all and travel, but I am not sure I would want to travel all the time. I have downsized significantly and moved from a bigger home to a smaller one here in SWFL. The cost of living is really high here especially Home insurance and Taxes. And I KNOW that you already know that since you lived in Florida! I had a job last year where I traveled all over the US and enjoyed it except I seemed to get sick pretty frequently from either airborne or food related illnesses. Once was food poisoning.. ugh awful time in a hotel with that!! and another with covid on the tail end of a trip, fortunately I was home for the worst of it. But I had a 'home' to return to. And I am not sure if I didn't have a "home" that I would really feel comfortable bouncing around the world. How was it when you first did it? Did you have an adjustment period? When did that homesickness go away? I would not be able to travel unless I sold it all, so keeping my house really would not be an option. Having someone else in my home while I traveled for work did NOT work out well for me. Do you have a 'budget' video? I am solo and would like to know that I can afford it if I do take the leap. Living in a place a week at a time and eating all the meals 'out' sounds a bit expensive.
Thanks so much for following along. We have not missed having a home base at all. We use a couple of kids homes as "home bases" when we are in the states. We also had a one year transition in our Airstream after we sold our home. Here is our budget video that we did last year. ruclips.net/video/jULRHDPC56w/видео.htmlsi=ufsX5qJ0NjZsWHnn Happy trails, John and Bev
Merry Christmas! Great video. Thank you for the practical tips and information on managing mail, banking, credit cards, etc. Your lessons learned on logistics is really helpful. Thank you!!
4:33 I saw you have a 16” MacBook Pro. With 140W AC adapter, that’s a fair bit of weight. That’s what I have and I think I’m going to "side grade" to a 15” Air next year.
We looked at every option available to try to reduce our weight, but with so many large video files and our need to edit multiple projects at once, we needed a computer that could handle many TB at one time. The alternative is to carry backup drives to store the data during editing and they are heavy as well. Bev's computer can process a video quickly and has 8TB storage. One thing we do is carry an Anker 747 charger so we are carrying less plugs. Check out our video here for how we reduce our tech gear. Thanks for the comment! John & Bev ruclips.net/video/zNRP9Eo1hWI/видео.htmlsi=wjmgkMSsMNkK7Y8g
Not sure where to post this question: HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE YOU'RE DRINKING GOOD, CLEAN WATER? What do you use to clean the water? Or do you use a purification straw? Buy bottled water all the time?? Or...what? Please post a video about making sure you don't get upset tummy, Delhi-belly, etc. Thanks! LOVE YOUR VIDS!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing your travels! Really enjoy it!
Thanks. We simply do our research in each place. If we have any doubts, we just use bottled water, which is usually readily available. Thanks for following along with us. Happy journeys, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Love this! I am kinda a health fanatic when it comes to food, but your way of eating may fit the bill for traveling. Thanks for the tip. You two are so funny! Love the sense of humor.
Thanks so much and glad you are enjoying our channel. You will definitely like our next video that comes out this weekend, so stay tuned. 😉 Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
And Paxlovid isn’t often available either-so if that’s important to you, look into it in advance. Likewise for rapid tests. As for vaccines, when we went to Thailand, we got some vaccines in advance but delayed whatever we could to get there at a much better price.
We traveled fulltime in an RV for many years and used an RV mail service too. It worked very well. As you said, these days you can handle most things paperless anyways. I understand the con of not being able to see your children and grandchildren as often, but our family met up with us on the road from time to time. I'm looking forward to your upcoming health care video. We're seriously considering moving to Italy but returning to the US 3-4 times a year to spend time with our family. I have some health issues that I have to figure out how to manage while abroad and back in the US.
We enjoyed our RV travel as well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas. We like to keep flexibility and our options open all the time. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thank you for sharing. With so much online the logistics are much simpler. I was wondering how you plan for your trips while you are on a trip. Makes sense that you do that all ahead of time. With traveling overseas whether full time or for a vacation, you have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Safe travels! --M
@@RetirementTravelers I enjoy watching your videos every week, seeing the new places you visit and learning from you. Safe travels in 2024 and hope you reach 100k subscribers. --M
Enjoy your trip to India, I live in US, born and brought up in south India. Hopefully someday our paths would cross in India and you get to stay with us and enjoy our south hospitality and great food. Just a tip, even being an Indian I tend to get diarrhea when I go there, so I keep with me some active charcoal or Bentonite clay to drink with water …just saying 😁
Thanks so much and that would be great to connect. We are doing Golden Triangle, Udapuir, Mumbai, and Kochi. Thanks for the tips. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
That sounds great. We will make it back to Australia one of these days. ❤️ Thanks so much for your generous offer. Safe travels and many blessings in 2024. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
You both are so cute and seems happy. I’ve traveled over 120 cities around the world, on both business trips and backpack trips. But always relied on global hotels and abnb I’m really interested in how you find 3 months homes in your flexpat travel, as I’ve seen your other videos but if you can show example on step by step contacting local relocation instead of hotels and abnb
Thanks so much. We are currently traveling fast so that we can see as much of the world as possible during our younger and healthier years. Our plan is to slow down and spend longer periods in each place as we get older, just not yet. We know some people that go to a town and stay in a hotel for a few days and then contact a local realtor and go see the places they will stay for longer periods. This seems like a petty good strategy to us when the time comes. Happy journeys, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
If you didn’t have your RUclips channel and website, how would you find a sense of contributing/giving back? I think that’s really important for a larger sense of meaning; but it seems like volunteering has to be done carefully and mindfully when spending time in another culture.
We think you are right, but as we travel, we see so many opportunities. We've met volunteers, especially young people who are spending some time abroad doing service projects or mission projects for their churches. We admire them so much, and we hope to have some projects that we can get involved with in the future. There is great need everywhere we go. Thanks for the question! John & Bev www.retirementtravelers.com
Lots of great information in that video. Do you know of any other RUclipsrs that can speak to a Canadian perspective for finances and Healthcare? I am learning Lots from you a d hope to put it into action in a few years.
Glad you enjoyed the video. There is a Canadian couple called @ThisIsOurRetirement that we follow that would likely have information on Canadian finances and Healthcare. Happy trails and many blessings for 2024. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
We are both 60 and both have some medical conditions that require medication, although nothing we haven't been able to manage. Thanks for following along with us and hope you are enjoying our channel. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Have you ever considered moving (resident wise) in a low or zero tax country? Andorra, Greece or Italy’s 7% flat rate for retirees? Malaysia, or HK? Is staying in USA worth it if it wasn’t just for your children?
If we didn't have kids and grandkids, we might consider it, but we want to see the world and involve them with our travels. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thanks. Very helpful tips. What are your thoughts for staying in each place for longer periods, say 2 weeks to 1 month, so you experience more fully the daily life and culture?
We've done that several times. Medellin and Panama City for a month. We plan on staying in Cape Town for a month this year. We love staying longer periods and plan to do that more in the future, but right now while we are able, we want to see as much of the world as possible. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
This is such a great, heartwarming and informative video 🏆 Talking about travelling with (grand)children...I want to mention "The Bucketlist Family": they travelled with their (now) 3 children, two of them, since they were born. Your children and grandchildren are very, very fornunate to have (grand) parent like you: what better rolemodel can one be, than showing love and interest in our beautiful World, to live life to the fulliest (without stuff), and to embrace the unknown with an open heart? ❤ I honestly don't see any downside to that. I wish that many more people (including myself) were able to persue their dreams, like you do. Thank you ❤ Bev & John Greetings from Denmark
Thanks for the kind words and we have watched The Bucketlist Family over the years. Thanks. Perhaps our paths will cross someday when we return to Denmark. Safe travels and many blessings in 2024, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/

Great job you do it! Thank you for sharing! Could you please share what is your average monthly budget when traveling full time? Me and my wife plan to do it too. However still 9 years to go because of the youngest kid. I am 53 now ;). We do not want to be budget travelers and your style is what we aim for but just wondering what has to be a budget for such a life style. Best regards from Florida - near Tampa ;)

Thanks so much. We plan to travel for quite awhile, so it is not a concern to us at all at this point. Here is a video we did that addresses this question in more detail. ruclips.net/video/cMkwBUwKEZY/видео.htmlsi=Po8G4ldBtcltFoRi John and Bev
Thanks so much. We have been residents of Florida since 2016, so we just remained residents when we sold our house in 2021. We use a mail service for address, which there is a link in the video description. Happy trails, John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thanks for creating the video. The tip on using a virtual mailbox is helpful, but how do you receive important mail like credit cards? My bank has been sending me new credit cards without asking for them and prior to the expiration. So, I not clear on how you would get physical mail like that. Any ideas on how to solve for that are appreciated. Thanks and happy new year.
We have our mail forwarded by our mail service to our first stop when we are home. While the company has virtual capabilities, you still have physical mail that needs forwarding. They can forward to us abroad or we can forward to our daughter. Our advice is to have someone who can help with urgent matters. You can have one piece pulled and forwarded to someone who can hold it for you. I hope this is what you mean. John & Bev www.retirementtravelers.com
Why do you have to move so much. I don't think I could keep up with that level, not to mention the extra cost of movement. Could you please discuss that in a future video. Thank you.

Just curious if you ever run across women who travel Full Time as solo travelers? Since my husband passed, I have traveled to Europe several times for 2-4 weeks with lady friends but it’s difficult to find someone who is available either time-wise or financially, so am thinking I may go it alone full time for awhile. Just not sure how safe this is… thanks for your advice.
We have encountered several solo female travelers of all ages, so we know there are out there. Best of luck with your journey and travels. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/
Thank you both. I’ve traveled with both Rick Steves and RScholar but prefer independent travel. Instead of repeating the flight across the Atlantic several times a year, I’ve been thinking longer stays in Europe or wherever. Thanks again.
BF doesn’t like big cities, and it’s hard to find a companion sometimes, like you said. So I go to those alone. If I don’t think I’ll be safe, I don’t go. Any number of countries are very safe. I can vouch for Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Iceland, UK, Ireland. Also S Korea, though I haven’t been yet.
We should have spoken about this. We see it all the time. Women are out there traveling the world and good for them. We can see why women might be hesitant, but don’t let being single stop you from travel! John & Bev
Thanks for the question. Actually, not at all for us. Our shirts open up conversation and so many new relationships. Happy trails. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com/

There isn’t anywhere else I’d rather be and I’m finally enjoying the comfort of staying in one place!
where did you make your permanent home?
That's wonderful. You've seen a lot and enjoy your time in one place. We may get there someday, just not yet. Thanks for sharing your story and following along with us.

Happy trails and many blessings,
John and Bev

Thanks. yes, I am not going to let this bad experience slow me down, but I want to warn others that it is important to have enough available on credit cards to handle such problems.@@RetirementTravelers

In our current economy, too many people are desperate for those 'nightly' rentals to be monthy or for sale for single family housing!
We've had good success with hotels vs. Airbnb.

Not sure where to post this question: HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE YOU'RE DRINKING GOOD, CLEAN WATER? What do you use to clean the water? Or do you use a purification straw? Buy bottled water all the time??
You both are so cute and seems happy. I’ve traveled over 120 cities around the world, on both business trips and backpack trips. But always relied on global hotels and abnb
I’m really interested in how you find 3 months homes in your flexpat travel, as I’ve seen your other videos but if you can show example on step by step contacting local relocation instead of hotels and abnb

This is such a great, heartwarming and informative video 🏆
Talking about travelling with (grand)children...I want to mention "The Bucketlist Family": they travelled with their (now) 3 children, two of them, since they were born.
Your children and grandchildren are very, very fornunate to have (grand) parent like you: what better rolemodel can one be, than showing love and interest in our beautiful World, to live life to the fulliest (without stuff), and to embrace the unknown with an open heart? ❤
I honestly don't see any downside to that.
I wish that many more people (including myself) were able to persue their dreams, like you do.

Thanks so much. We have been residents of Florida since 2016, so we just remained residents when we sold our house in 2021. We use a mail service for address, which there is a link in the video description.

Been a multi year SE Asian location independent slow traveler and there has been NO downside or con for me. None. All good! Not going back!
That's wonderful to hear. Enjoy the journey.

Thank you.
You never know what life throws at you and we want to see the world. Here is a video we made recently that discusses this in more detail.

Check out the Road Scholar company if you haven't done so already. Many solo female travelers go on those trips.
Thanks for sharing. Sounds like a great option.

We have encountered several solo female travelers of all ages, so we know there are out there. Best of luck with your journey and travels.

What is your opinion of a single female senior traveling the world alone?
We should have spoken about this. We see it all the time. Women are out there traveling the world and good for them. We can see why women might be hesitant, but don’t let being single stop you from travel! John & Bev
In the scheme of things, this is a fairly shallow question but are you sick of your clothes yet? 😄 I happen to like variety/choices.
Thanks for the question. Actually, not at all for us. Our shirts open up conversation and so many new relationships.
Happy trails.

Great information! Who do you use for travel insurance?
We are working on a new "how-to" series and plan to do one on travel insurance. Not a short answer, so stay tuned. Thanks for the suggestion.

Has switching from AirBnB to hotels increased your expenses?
We don't think so. We think the prices were similar, but much less headaches with hotels.

Have you tried house sitting?
Not yet, but something we may try in the future.

Q: Is it stressful with that kind of lifestyle?
Not at all. It can be challenging at times, but we are always learning and experiencing new things.

How do handle a hardcopy check payment via snail mail?
We can get scans, forward it or even have the mail service make a deposit. Lots of options.
