Muay Thai Training - Inside Counters to the Teep with Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9 & Adrian Fairtex

Every coach and fighter has their own favourite way to counter the teep whilst sparring or fighting in Muay Thai. There is no absolutely correct way to do so and it often pays to have a multitude of tools to hand when facing high level opposition. Here, internationally renowned Muay Thai fighter and Glory Kickboxing world champion Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9, showcases a couple of the ways he likes to deal with this particular kick, alongside his coach and founder of the Muay Thai Academy in BC, Vancouver Adrian Fairtex.

I have no doubt that Petch knows what he is doing, but I must ask isn't 3:49 risky if they throw a question mark kick?
I suppose since it would be from the front leg without a switch it's not enough powerful to pose a K.O threat?

Petch is a great fighter. His kicks don't look powerful but clearly they are.
